It was five am and around the time where all the trainees had to get up and start their day. Yena, on the other hand, did not want to move a muscle. Yesterday's practice had her more sore, tired and exhausted than she has ever felt in her whole life, but knowing what was at stake of her not getting up (getting eliminated) she forced herself out of bed with the biggest frown on her face. the other trainees were slightly in shock at how "Yena The Happy Virus" was not her usual cheerful self, but knowing how weird that is they felt it was only right not to comment and to just giver her all the space she needed. 

When dance practice came around, to say her sulking only got worse was an understatement, she was beyond hungry and sleepy and having to learn this new choreography was absolutely the last thing she wanted to do. plopping herself down on the floor with her back against the wall and her head between her knees she wanted to cancel out all of the noise coming from the small room she was in, she felt suffocated and all she wanted was for the whole world to stop for a second and just give her a break. 

lost in her thoughts, Yena didn't hear the footsteps coming her way and didn't notice the presence of another person in front of her until she felt a gentle tap on her shoulder. fighting the urge to tell the person off for bothering her when she clearly didn't want to be bothered she lifted her head ready to glare at whoever decided right now is a good  time to talk to her, but all of those thoughts of fighting the girl vanished when she saw a hamster look-alike girl with big round glasses and neat bangs with her hair in a ponytail, her lips sporting a big bright smile that made Yena get hypnotized by how absolutely gorgeous the girl in front of her was.

too focused on falling in love with her she didn't hear what the girl said when she moved her lips so Yena just dumbly stared at her with agape and the hamster couldn't help but giggle at how adorable she was and repeated herself this time extending her hand saying "do you want some jelly?", and that's when Yena lost it she swore that she saw actual angel wings appear from behind the girl. there was absolutely no way she was real she just had to be sent from heaven to be this beautiful and to offer Yena jelly of all things.

Nodding slowly Yena took the packet of jelly, opened it and ate it in record speed which made the girl in front of her yet again giggle and think to herself "she's so cute she's eating it like it was the last food on earth" she shook her head and sat herself next to the who she would assume extremely hungry girl.

Yena turned to face her and smiled for the first time that day and started speaking softly "thank you for the jelly I was having a very bad day and this made me feel so much better, seriously this means a lot" finishing her mini speech with a wider grin

 seeing how genuine Yena was the cute girl couldn't help but share the same wide grin and place her hand over her's while saying " yeah I noticed how down you were and I thought the jelly might cheer you up a little since food seems like a rarity in this place" shaking her head while remembering how they would only give them mini snack packets as full meals

I'm Yuri, by the way, Jo Yuri" she introduced herself while squeezing her hand for a second"

Yena, Choi Yena" was all Yena could get out at the moment because she just knew that she fell in love" 

Maybe the jelly wasn't what cheered Yena up, maybe it was the cute girl that gave her the jelly that did that.

Jo Yuri or who Yena likes to call "an angel that came for her rescue"  was the reason Yena sprinted out of bed and performed her best for the rest of the competition.

Who knew that a packet of jelly on a bad day could lead into meeting an angel who stole her heart and made her realize that the world is sweeter than any jelly for bringing Yuri into her life.
