XTC :  " ecstasy "  /ˈekstəsē/  an overwhelming  feeling of great happiness or joyful excitement. while also meaning "eXtraTerrestrial Circle"

     sm entertainment is back at it again with the newest addition to their line up, only this time they've not only decided to dump a large portion of the smrookie girls into it, they've decided that they want to jump back into the more plot driven side of things. it worked for exo, until it didn't, so maybe the second time will be the charm?

    with nct taking the international side of the business by storm, sm wants to launch an attack on the more domestic market and plan on doing so with the new girl group. XTC is a brand new concept for sm entertainment and hopefully they'll make the world buzz with their out of this world concept.

    beginning in january 2018 and expanding until december of 2018, the girls of XTC, month by month, release a single introducing themselves and the planetery object they represent along with the symbolism associated with it. every so often, a sub-unit  single is released with the girls previously introduced by that time, too. when 2019 rolls around, however, the girls all combine and debut, beginning their mission on earth.
