"Once again, thank you for tuning in to today's session. We surely had a lot of confessions received this morning so we'll be continuing tomorrow still at 10am. This has been your one and only, DJ Wan, Bye!" 

Joohyun stood up from one of the university bench situated outside their building and near the school speakers. She fished out her phone and texted Seulgi to ask where the bear was. It was almost lunch time and the older just finished her daily habit of listening to the sound melodic voice of the DJ. 

Truth be told, the older did not pretty much care about anything other than going to her business classes and her photography club although the senior became famous ever since her first year. 'Beauty and Brains.' That was what most of the students called her but few had the guts to get close to her. 

It was during the start of her senior year when she first heard of a new freshman who took over the "Confessions" session on their university radio. Normally, Joohyun doesn't listen over the school comm but the soft and pure voice of the DJ over the speakers captured Joohyun when she was walking from her building to another building. The older couldn't help but laugh along as well when the DJ read a funny confession that day and the latter couldn't help but react excessively and have side comments while reading it. 

"I love you, Saeronie. Be mine. You know who I am. Meet me at the usual." 

"Oh my my my. This confession is direct and straight to the point. It almost sounded like a threat. Poor girl. Am I right, guys?" the DJ said and giggled at her own joke. "Just kidding. But I'd like to give this one a point. It is rare nowadays to get straight confession like this one. Most of the time, people liked to beat around the bush until the other person gets it or sometimes, the other person even never gets it."

A sudden ping was heard over the speakers. 

"Oh! We got a message here. Let me read it for you, guys. Hmmmm. 'DJ Wan, it has been a week for you reading confession from others, how about you? What kind of confession would you like?'" the DJ exhaled before humming as if to think it through. 

"That was a nice question by the way. Honestly, I haven't pretty much thought about it. But any confession for me would as long as it is from the heart." DJ Wan giggled and added, "I know... I know. Pretty cliché, right? But really, I don't care how as long as it is true and from the person I love as well."

Listening to the DJ became a habit for Joohyun since that day. Because first, the DJ's voice was so soft that it made her want to know the DJ, second, the confession made by the DJ somewhat touched her and third, she freaking knew who the letter was from and she couldn't help but cringe all the way on her walk to class. 

"I'm in the cafereria already!" the bear replied in her text. Joohyun dragged herself to cafeteria and bought some lunch. 

 

The two first met in one of their elective class. Fortunately, Sooyoung, Yeri, and Seulgi were there too. Joohyun became embarrassed when she saw the trio dragging what seemed to be a poor girl to her side. 

"Joohyun unnie! Look what we got!" Seulgi's loud voice startled the hamster looking girl. 

"Fresh meat!" Yeri exclaimed loudly and lightly slapped the poor girl's arm.

Joohyun widened her eyes at her crazy friends' comments, "Yah! Kim Yerim! Kang Seulgi! Park Sooyoung! What the heck is this? Leave the girl alone!" 

"But you need someone to be partnered up with unnie! I got Seulgi and Yeri have Saeron, so you have no one. Why don't you just say 'Thank you, Almighty Sooyoung?' Huh?" Joy said with smug confidence.

"Uhhh...my name's Wendy by the way," the girl finally spoke. 

Joohyun stopped. 

She recognized that voice. 

That soft and pleasant voice. 

"Are you...are... are you the DJ in Confessions?" The older stuttered.

The younger blushed at the question and admitted in a low voice, "Whaaa -- Yes? How did you know?"

Sooyoung and Seulgi looked at each other with widened eyes. This was the girl their bunny unnie was so much infatuated into. The girl they excessively heard from their unnie. What a luck! 

Sooyoung immediately grabbed the bear and squirtle's arm and dragged them away, "Goodbye then, unnie! Have fun!" Seulgi left the two with a flying kiss and a wink while Yeri just cackled.

Joohyun's mouth was left hanging wide open. She couldn't believe her friends would just ditch her like that! Plus the girl she's very much infatuated into was standing before her. Great. 

"So....? That was weird." Seungwan started.

The older sighed and faced the younger with all her confidence. "Looks like we're partnered up, then." Good job, Joohyun. No stuttering. 

"I guess so? So what should we do?"

"Let's get and ace this business case study,"
 

The two got easily comfortable with each other. At first, it was hard for the older to dismiss her infatuation to the younger but she somehow controlled it to a minimum so as not to scare Seungwan. Joohyun helped Seungwan with her classes and projects while the younger, the usual bubbly derp that she was, easily connected to Joohyun who have always been focus on her studies and club. The two easily brought out the best in each other.

"How about you, Unnie? How do you like to get confessed to?" Seungwan asked.

The older stopped eating her spaghetti and thought for a while. The younger waited eagerly in her seat beside Joohyun. "Before, I used to dream of big and grand confessions and all that fancy things. I mean, the ones you can see in the movies." Joohyun stated nonchalantly while grabbing her drink. "But there was a person before who said that it doesn't matter how confessions are done... as long as it is true and genuine and from the person you'd expect it from, nothing else will really matter,"

The younger leaned back on her chair, "Huh. That person sounded like a romantic then."

Joohyun giggled at the sight of the younger with her eyes squinted and a visible pout on her lips. "You have no idea." 

Seungwan then intertwined their hands under the table and placed it on her lap. Satisfied smiles written on the faces of the two. 

The trio in front of them just fake puked and looked somewhere else than the two. 

"Get a room!"

The two were lazily lounging on one of Joohyun's couch in her dorm. Seungwan had her back against the corner of the couch with Joohyun's back resting against her front and between her legs. 

They were just friends. At least that's what going on in Seungwan's mind. But deep down, she wished they were something more but the older doesn't have to know that. Right?

"Say unnie, would you rather have bad breath or stinky feet forever?" Seungwan asked out of the blue. 

Joohyun coughed at the question and looked back at the younger increduously, "You're gross and weird. You know that?" 

Seungwan just laughed at the comment and lightly squeezed the older's arm, "Just answer the question, unnie."

The older thought for a minute, "Hmmmm. I think I'd rather have stinky feet."

"Why?"

Joohyun's cheeks turned pink, "I'm not telling you."

"What -- Come on, unnie! It's just a silly question. A hypothetical one." The younger urged and forced Joohyun to look at her. 

The pink shade on Joohyun's cheek just turned deeper. She tried to look somewhere else but the younger caught Joohyun's jaw. 

"Hmmm?"

"It's because...uhmmm... so I would still be able to kiss the person I like?"

Seungwan's heart stopped for a beat. They've been friends for a long time now but this is the first time they talked about these kind of things. "You...you have someone you like?" The younger asked without wanting to sound too eager. 

The older scoffed and turned away. She directed her attention back at the tv. 

"I...I'm not telling you that."

Seungwan did not know what came over her but she wrapped her arms around the older's waist and placed her chin on Joohyun's shoulder. 

She leaned in Joohyun's ear and whispered in a low sultry voice, "Just make sure I'm the first person you tell to if you have one. Okay?" Seungwan then blew lightly on the older's ear which made Joohyun tingle. 

The older's ears immediately reddened and went into a slapping spree to the younger. "Yah! Why. Did. You. Do. That?!"

Seungwan just laughed and tried to avert her unnie's continuous slaps. 

Joohyun missed the way how Seungwan looked at her with sickly loving eyes. 
 

The "Confessions" segment was really a hit to the university students. Thus, it was no wonder that Seungwan caught a lot of attention as well. There were already numerous times where Seungwan got confessions. Good thing was there were two sessions. One in the morning and one in the afternoon. Seungwan was in-charge in the morning while another junior in the afternoon. So whenever Seungwan receives a confession directed to her, she would just push it down to the afternoon session. Because seriously, how awkward would that be.

"To the beautiful you, Son Seungwan-ssi" the DJ in the afternoon started. Joohyun stopped mid-track and listened over the speakers. She was on her way to the faculty to deliver some errands but surely, that could wait. This was more important. And annoying. 

"I know that we've only known each other for a short time. But please, let me have the chance to make you happy. Meet me at the sunken garden tonight. I'll wait for you,"

"Mark," the DJ ended. "Oh wow, another confession for our DJ Wan right here!"

"Seungwan must have heard this," Joohyun thought and dragged herself to the faculty. She thought of the times when that Mark guy would wait up outside Seungwan's class and how the two got connected easily since they both grew outside Korea. 

"Where are you going?" Joohyun went straight to Seungwan's dorm after her class only to see Seungwan in her favorite blue dress and about to head out. Oh, no. 

"I'm going to the sunken garden. Wanna come?" Seungwan answered nonchalantly. 

"What?!" This can't be happening. 

"I said I'm going to the sunken garden, Unnie," the younger repeated and adjusted her dress. 

"And... you want me to come with you?" The older asked bewildingly. This was too much for her poor heart.
