Foreword
The world around him is spinning, like some sick merry-go-round that never ceases.
He's sick and his vision is hazy.
He hears a thud, like something rather large just fell to the floor.
Is it him?
He can't be sure, but it would explain why only one side of his face feels so cold.
So very cold.
He feels like crying and laughing at the same time, but all he can do is take in slow, even breaths as he tries to calm his rapidly beating heart.
'Help!' his mind cries, but nothing comes forth from his mouth except small grunts and gasps.
He hears the door creak open and then everything else is shut out as one thought consumes him entirely.
'I'm sorry....'
