Sana was a positive woman always smiling and laughing with everyone. She was also know for being the IT girl of her university's campus back in the day. Gifted with good looks and a rich background, people were bound to flock to her whenever she reached the school grounds. People flocked to her in attempts to mooch off of her popularity or even get some sort of connection with her socialite entourage. Several men and a few women have asked her out for a date, numerous times, despite the IT girl letting it be known that she wasn't interested in dating anyone at all. They still insisted and kept on trying. It was still the case, even in her workplace.

There wasn't much to do about it, no matter what she'd say they'd still try. Not that she really cared. In the end, she already had someone waiting for her at home. Her favourite person, her lovely junior, her Taiwanese beauty, her adorable girlfriend, her Tzuyu who she was madly in love with. The fact that they were dating was a secret the two had promised to keep for themselves to avoid any sort of backlash, especially since they were in Korea. As great as the country was, homouality was still very much frowned upon. The two foreigners have came to terms with the reality of where they were currently living. Luckily for them, women tended to be very touchy-feely with their friends which turned out to be a great cover for the two when they would hang out in public.

Although they could’nt peck each other's lips, they could still hold hands and link their arms together, stick close and hug each other tightly without worrying about looking suspicious. If anyone found them suspicious, their go to answer would be that they're great friends. Of course saying such things were annoying but they were also a necessity if they wanted to live without any problems in Korea. Very few same- couples expose themselves to the public, not fearing the potential backlash from the older generation and religious folk. It was very admirable but Sana and Tzuyu wouldn't be able to do it, they weren't that strong.

They wouldn't be able to handle the harsh words and the looks of disgust sent their way. It wasn't something they could stomach with ease. The two simply took the easy way out. It was irritating at times, however they didn't have much of a choice. Luckily for them, their parents were aware of the romantic relationship between the two women. They didn't protest much after seeing them spend some time together. Sana and Tzuyu were quite a couple in love. So much, so that Sana was always eager to run back home and pepper Tzuyu's face in kisses like a lovesick puppy.

Unfortunately for Minatozaki, for the past week she could do that at all as Tzuyu flew back to Taiwan to deal with some family matters. Sana had been acting like a puppy with separation anxiety. Her close friends pointed out how pitiful she was looking near the end of the week. Always staring blankly at space and pouring out of the blue. She had also been less enthusiastic  and smiley. The girl didn't have much of an excuse to explain her behaviour other than that 'she's been feeling under the weather'. None of them were buying it but they didn't ask any further, knowing that Sana wouldn't give them a clue. They also had a feeling it concerned Tzuyu, it always seemed to whenever the two weren't close with each other for a few days.

When she would come back home, the apartment would be dark and eerily quiet, lacking in the warmth she was used to experiencing when her girlfriend was there. She hasn't been greeted by a bone crushing hug and a huge smile accompanied by an eye-catching dimple. She wasn't able to hear the sweet 'I love you's being repeated in between kisses and giggles. She wasn't able to feel the soft hands of Tzuyu massaging her scalp as they'd lay together in bed. She couldn't enjoy a warm meal with the company of the one she loved the most. It filled her with this feeling of loneliness. Sana missed Tzuyu terribly.

Even with all the calls and scheduled FaceTime moments, it still didn't feel right. Minatozaki needed the physical contact to soothe her restless heart. To reassure her that Tzuyu wouldn't just disappear without saying a word while she's in Taiwan. She was definitely overthinking but she couldn't help it. The girl didn't want to admit it, however she was quite dependent on the Taiwanese girl. Without her everything felt so wrong, it also made Sana realize how needy she was for Tzuyu's love and affection. To be honest, just having her girlfriend stand next to her was enough for her to enjoy her days like she usually would.

The Japanese woman found herself spending most of her free time at home, lazily dressed and facing the door of her apartment while sitting in the living room. Patiently waiting for Tzuyu to come barging through the at any moment. Her strategy only made her feel like a dog with separation anxiety. Dressed in PJ pants and wearing one of Tzuyu's many oversized sweaters, Sana would cover her nose with the sleeves or lift up the front of the collar to inhale her lover's scent. It looked awfully creepy but it was very calming, it put her heart to ease. If she wasn't sniffing clothes, Sana would cycle between cooking, cleaning, eating, looking at pictures of Tzuyu, laying anywhere she could in the apartment and sleeping. It wasn't the healthiest schedule to have but it kept her somewhat occupied while waiting for her girlfriend's greatly awaited arrival.

Today was D-day, the day where she could finally reunite with her lover and it was all she wanted. To have her home be filled with warmth again, to be able to love her lover, to be able to have someone to cuddle in her sleep and hear lullabies from. Needless to say, she was very excited to see Tzuyu in the flesh after so long. Sana did the usual after she got home from work with no projects to do, she stared intensely at the door for several hours. The tv was on, serving as background noise so waiting in silence wouldn't be too painful. As much as the girl wanted to witness her girlfriend arrive, she was starting to feel sleepy.

Her fatigue just had to weigh down her eyelids at the worst of times. Couldn't there be a snooze button for sleepyness? Sana would definitely find it useful to push it back by a few tens of minutes. Just so she could greet her lover on her arrival. For now, she's have to settle with roughly rubbing her eyes in hopes of staying awake longer. Every time she would blink, the time it took her to open her eyes kept increasing to the point where she gracefully fell asleep on the couch at 2 AM.

Her body didn't even budge at the sound of her apartment door opening with a tall brunet slowly entering the place. Her onyx eyes scanned the lit area, zoning in on Sana who happened to be drooling a little onto the couch. The girl couldn't help but quietly laugh at the sight. She gently placed her suitcase down, removed her coat and shoes and slowly made her way next to her girlfriend.

"You should've just went to sleep in our bed" Tzuyu whispered softly as one of her hands gently caressed Minatozaki's cheek. The girl mumbled something incomprehensible while snuggling closer to her lover's hand.

Cute as always, but she couldn't sleep there. She's get a sore neck in the morning if she stayed in that position any longer.

"Cmon, lets get you into bed" She wrapped one arm around Sana's shoulder and the other under her knees. She wasn't sure if she got stronger or if Sana lost weight, either way she seemed easier to lift up compared to before she left Korea. Tzuyu was going to have to cook a lot of food for her.

Sana grumbled a little while being carried, probably not enjoying getting carried away from her sleeping spot. One of her hands went to grip Tzuyu's shirt as she nuzzled her face closer to her chest. Minatozaki looked like a very big baby right now and her lover was enjoying such a display. She missed this. The Taiwanese woman brought Sana to their shared room and placed her on the bed only to not be able to fully let her down. Her grip was quite something.

"Sana-ya" Tzuyu called out sweetly, knowing that the woman was probably half-awake.

"Don't leave me~" Sana whined with a hoarse voice.

"Don't be silly" The brunette chuckled while gently placing her hands over her girlfriend's own pair "I need to change out of my clothes then I'll join you in bed hm?"

"You better, or else i'll be pouty" She muttered, finally letting go of Tzuyu's shirt.

"You're so cute, baby" Tzuyu leant down to give the girl a chaste kiss on the lips before going to change into her pjs.  She tried to be as quick as she could but once she was done  and back in the room, Sana was pouting with her eyes closed. "I wasn't even gone for long, why are you pouting?"

"You left the room" She grumbled cutely.

"I had to change?"

"You could've changed here, there's nothing I haven't seen before underneath all of that" That statement made Tzuyu blush a little. She wasn't wrong.

"I didn't smell very good Sana-ya, I had to wash up a little so I can cuddle you with all my might" She got closer to the bed and sneaked under the covers, draping one of her arms over Sana's body to hold her close. "I missed you a lot you know that right?"

The Taiwanese woman once again kissed Sana sweetly on the lips, savouring the feeling of their softness. Sana was quick to respond to the kiss, feeling the same way as her. They shared a very long and loving embrace before separating for some air.

"Kiss me more" Sana demanded in a needy manner while trying to scoot her body even closer to Tzuyu's.

"You don't need ask, I was going to do it anyway" which she did.

The two lovebirds exchanges numerous kisses until Minatozaki wasn't able to stop yawning. "This , I want to kiss you more but I'm too sleepy~"

"Aww poor baby~" Tzuyu cooed while caressing Sana's face, causing her eyes to flutter shut at the action. "Is there anything else you want before you inevitably knock out?"

"Yeah, I want to know what was the family matter back in Taiwan? You never really told me"

Tzuyu chuckled at the request "That's going to have to wait for tomorrow morning, I don't want you to fall asleep in the middle of the explanation"

"Psh you're no fun"

"If you say so baby, want me to sing you a lullaby instead?"

"Please do" She looked up to Tzuyu, giving her the usual puppy eyes whenever she wanted something. Sana knew she wouldn't need them but she also knew that her girlfriend liked it a lot.

Tzuyu smiled softly and ran her fingers through her lover's hair, humming a simple yet soothing tune. Lulling Sana to sleep, the Taiwanese woman observed her facial features as her breathing slowed down. 

It was nice to be home.

Sana wasn't an early bird, meanwhile Tzuyu was (though she wasn't that early as she slept in just as much as Sana). Not that the youngest of the two minded it at all, especially when she got to see a messy haired Sana with her cheek squished onto her chest. Who would ever want to miss out on that? Chou was more than glad to be her girlfriend's pillow. She also looked like she really needed the sleep, judging by the dark lines below her eyes.

She gently traced Sana's facial features, soaking in every single detail like she always did in the mornings, going back to her regular routine. Sometimes her girlfriend's face would scrunch up whenever she'd tickle her skin. It didn't stop her from brushing Sana's soft cheek with her thumbs.

"Stop it" She quietly whined out, pushing her have into the crook of Tzuyu's neck to avoid the ticklish touches. "Lemme sleep"

"Morning Sana-ya, it's already past noon"

"Wait....it's past noon?"

"It's 1:30"

"Oh"

"Yes, oh" Tzuyu giggled, she ruffled Sana's hair causing the girl to grumble and slowly detached her body from hers. "I'm gonna go make us some food okay?"

"I'll join you in a few minutes, after I stretch out my sleepy limbs" Sana stated lazily while groaning everytime she moved by not even an inch.

"Uh huh, if you're not out by the time I'm done cooking I'm calling the gang over" With that said, Tzuyu started changing into a fresh set of clothes with her back facing Sana.

Of course, Minatozaki oggled the tan skin as soon as it was exposed for her eyes to enjoy. She had every right to since she was dating that gorgeous human. Sana had all sorts of ideas popping in her head, they weren't the most innocent but could you really blame her?

"You should close your mouth before you start drooling" Tzuyu teased after slipping on a simple white t-shirt. "And get your mind out of the gutter, we gotta catch up first"

To that Sana raised one of her brows, it's not like her thoughts weren't about catching up. Catching up with her hot body of course. "Hey now, I had catching up in mind as well"

"Yeah right" The brunette smiled, amused at Sana's response. She walked to the edge of the bed and leaned over her girfriend who as still sprawled under the covers. Minatozaki was visibly anticipating something as she gulped down and eyed her lover. Tzuyu moved her face close to Sana's, barely an inch away with her hair draping the view from the outside. "You're quite the ert Miss Minatozaki"

"Maybe I should be punished?" She asked in a sultry tone to which Tzuyu chuckled at.

"Sure thing" She gave Sana a quick peck and headed out of the room at the speed of light while cackling "I'm gonna make us some breakfast, go take a cold shower while you're at it!"

"Yah, you tease!" She whined out loudly, clearly expecting something different to happen.

"Just for you baby~" Her girlfriend called out from the kitchen in a mocking tone.

Although she was feeling somewhat frustrated, she couldn't help but grin happily. Sana was glad she got to spend time like this with Tzuyu again, it was something she missed dearly. A week wouldn't seem like a big deal to others but for them it was quite something. The couple was used to always being somewhat near to each other. Even if they didn't spend that much time together, they were at least in the same city. Being in a different country was rather different. Sana rolled out of bed and got up to get changed. She slipped on a pair of jeans and one of Tzuyu's pullovers before heading out of the room. She was welcomed by the sight of Tzuyu in a dark green apron with her hair tied in a low ponytail.

Oh, how she missed this.

Before she even took notice of it herself, Sana found herself wrapping her arms around her girlfriend and giving her a soft squeeze. Hugs have never felt this good before. The girl could help but let out a deep breath while nuzzling her face on the brunette's shoulder.

"Hm? You okay?"

"Yeah" She answered but her voice was muffled by Tzuyu's shoulder "I just like hugging you"

Her girlfriend gently pat her head before going back to cooking. From time to time she would feed Sana a piece of bacon as she cooked for the both of them. Once she was done the two sat together at the dining table as they used to. The couple kept smiling at each other as they shared what had been going on as they were temporarily separated.

It was a nice feeling to be back together. It made them both feel complete, it felt like home which was exactly what they were to each other. Home is where the heart is, no matter how far it was, it would always be there.
