Through her dreams, Chaeyoung sees fragments of people's memories when they're about to die. She witnesses stranger's deaths as if she actually knew them, feels their pain as if she were them. She wishes she could do something, but every single time, all she can do is watch the deaths happen, and then she wakes up. 

Beyond the dreams, she lives a mundane life, a graphic designer living in the big city.
