Third person's P.O.V

Park Chanyeol stormed out of their room, raging from anger.

Or was he really angry?

"I told you it's a no! How many times do i have to remind you that!?"

"Y-yeol.. i-it's manager-nim who told me that.." On the other hand, who stood behind the door frame, Byun Baekhyun was looking down, unable to meet the giant's stare.

Chanyeol pulled his hair out of frustration.

He's so done with it, he just can't do it anymore.

"I've done so much fan service in my life Baekhyun! I'm so done!"

EXO will be having their concert overseas the day after tomorrow and their Manager wants Chanbaek to do a fan service for their shippers.

You know, be sweet and stuff.

"R-really? Yeol? You're done with this? You're giving up?"

Chanyeol was caught off-guard. He did not expect the words to come out from Baekhyun's mouth. But being the egotistical person he is, he held his head high and kept his pride.

"Hell yes! Ever since i debuted, i've been hearing Chanbaek here or Baekyeol there everywhere! Come on! It's 2019! Don't you find any of this annoying!?" Chanyeol said, irritation evident in his voice and Baekhyun could do nothing but to stay silent.

He swallowed a lump that was just starting to form in his throat and spoke.

"O-okay.. i-ll tell Jaewon-hyung." That was Baekhyun's last words before he stepped inside their shared room.

"H-hyung.. he... he refused."

[/sighs/ He's really changed.]

"Is it that necessary hyung? I mean, we could always pull off the concert without doing fan service."

[No. You'll do it.]

"B-but.. Cha--"

[Who said you'll do it with Chanyeol?]

Baekhyun was flustered. He never did any fan service with the other members than Chanyeol. Who could it possibly be?

[You're doing it with Sehun. Your OTP popularity has risen since END was aired. And besides, some people find it very amusing to see you and the maknae together since Chanyeol started being distant when the news of Tae--]

"O-okay, hyung.. i'll do it with Sehun. I'll tell him."

He cut off what his manager has to say. Baekhyun is not that kind of a kid who cuts off what others has to say.

He just doesn't want to hear it. The news.

The dating news. Of him. And Taeyeon. It's been almost 5 years since they pretended to date just to cover up the lawsuits the company is facing, Taryeon might have recovered from it already but yes. The wounds the scandal brought them is still fresh and he can't do anything about it even if he wanted to. He had tried to redo the ties that was cut due to the scandal for the past years but everything that was happening were all lies.

He stepped out of their room and nearly yelped when he saw Chanyeol beside the door who has his arms crossed.

When their eyes met, Chanyeol was the first one who shifted his gaze with a roll of an eye as he entered Kyungsoo and Jongin's room, angered.

And all Baekhyun could do was let out a sigh.

He knew it was his fault.

It was his fault, for being too weak and just let people control him.

That even him couldn't have control over his own feelings.

Rumors come and go, as they say.

They come, and after a while, people will come to a point where they would no longer remember that an issue like that ever existed.

But for some people, this isn't the same.

Right when Baekhyun's dating issue was out, Chanyeol started drifting away.

And Baekhyun doesn't know why.

Flashback: When the dating issue broke.

Baekhyun was about to go out, the management called him to discuss important matters in the company.

It hasn't been even a month since they left, and his eyes were still puffy due to crying but he knew he should comply whenever the company calls him.

Meanwhile the other members were gathered in the living area where Suho, their leader, reminded them that they are strong, that they would surpass this and that this is just another test given by Him to strengthen their faith and unity.

But neither did anyone knew, Suho's the one who suffers the most.

He's the one having the hardest time, seeing his 'sons' leaving one by one. No one knew how painful could that be.

"Hyung, i'll be going." Baekhyun bid his leader goodbye, putting up a small smile as he went out.

"Baek!"

It was Chanyeol.

"I know you're having a hard time, you've been too close to Tao, but i just want you to know, i'll always be here." Chanyeol said before pulling Baekhyun in his arms, resting his chin on the smaller's head.

And then again, Baekhyun burst into tears, making all of them cry once more.

"Anyeonghaseyo." Baekhyun politely called, when he reached their CEO's office.

Taeyeon's there, too, and even though he feels curious, he smiled at her, they're good friends though.

"Sit down, Baekhyun."

Baekhyun didn't know what to do.

How could he deal with that?

Pretending to be a couple just to cover up the lawsuits?

'That's bullsh*t.' Was what he thought.

When he entered their dorm, he didn't know if he should be worried, the members had unfathomable expressions on their faces.

"The news broke." Jongdae said.

'THAT FAST!?' He thought.

"He's not dealing with it properly, hyung." Jongin, pertaining to the guy who just went out of the kitchen, having a big piece of bread in his mouth, and a larger piece on both of his hands, laughing humorlessly.

"Oh! Baek! You're here! Hahahahaha! Want some bread?" Chanyeol said.

Everyone knew how fake Chanyeol's smiles were, how fake his actions were, and how hurt is eyes seemed to be.

But Baekhyun could do nothing. Absolutely nothing.

"Hey hyung! You're out to dreamland again!? Seriously?" Jongin jokingly said.

Baekhyun just laughed at the younger's teasing remark, reminiscing the moments they had for the past years.

"Is Hun already here?"

"Nahh. He seems too overwhelmed with the breeze he even forgot it's past beyond his curfew."

"Junmyeon-hyung will get mad at him again, tsk tsk, poor maknae." Baekhyun said with a chuckle.

"Is there anything new about it, hyung? Sehun going out and coming back really late at night then Junmyeon-hyung will go all mad scolding him right then and there and Sehun would just plead an--"

"Heard my name. 'Sup?" And just as Baekhyun was about to turn around, a skinny yet very muscular arm was slung lazily on his shoulder and Baekhyun doesn't know why but he's irritated so he shrugs Sehun's shoulder.

"So what was it that you're going to say Baekhyun?" Sehun informally said.

They just had dinner and was resting in the living area and if course, he got scolded by Junmyeon for staying out at this late hour.

Baekhyun flicked his forehead for doing so.

"You're just up by height but i'm still two years older than you." Baekhyun said but Sehun just ruffled his hair.

"Argh!"

"Hyung, i always see Chanyeol hyung do this to you before but you don't get mad."

"It's because you're not Chanyeol." Baekhyun was shocked to hear a deep voice from behind.

He looked back and saw Chanyeol smiling at him.

I've never seen him smile at me like that for ages.

Minutes passed, he felt his body shiver when someone whispered air at his nape.

His nape, of all places.

The smile on Chanyeol's face vanished and angrily went up to their room.

He shrugged it off and glared at Sehun.

"Jaewon-hyung wants us to do a fan service." He started.

They're fine about it since they almost do it every concert.

"Oh so it's Sebaek then.." Baekhyun nodded.

Slowly, Sehun smiled.

"I'd love to."

After a long talk, Baekhyun finally decided to walk up their room to get some rest.

They're flying at 10 am tomorrow.

He laid down and prepared himself to sleep.

"You're really doing it with him?"

He thought Chanyeol was already asleep since the lights are off and the blanket is draped all over his body.

"What do you mean?"

Chanyeol turned around and faced him.

The space between them is too small.

Too small he could feel Chanyeol's gaze burying deep inside him.

"You know what i mean. Don't play dumb smurf." He didn't know if he should feel happy or mad about Chanyeol calling him smurf.

He used to call Baekhyun smurf because of the latter's height. And in return, Baek calls him Yoda.

"W-well.. it's not like i have a choice. I have to."

Chanyeol reached out for Baekhyun's hand which made the smaller freeze in his spot.

"Baek... i miss everything." It was what Chanyeol said before he let go of Baekhyun's hand.

"I miss my best friend.. i miss you Baek." 

Best friend?

And there Baekhyun thought that they were on the same page, turns out Chanyeol was reading a different book.

Baekhyun sighed before closing his eyes, letting out words which he himself doesn't know if it's the truth or not.

"I do, too. Yeol, i miss everything too, i miss my.. my b-best friend."

Baekhyun was busy remembering if he missed anything when a pair of large hands covered his eyes.

It was Oh Sehun, of course.

"Hyung! I'll sit beside you on the plane. Arasso?"

Baekhyun turned around and gave the maknae a sad smile.

"I didn't catch what you were saying, what was it again?" Suho interrupted, quirking a brow at Sehun.

Sehun just pouted, which had Baekhyun pinching the maknae's cheek.

He's just too cute to resist.

"Yeah right. I'll be stuck with you for hours, hyung, how could i forget that." Sehun said waving a flippant hand.

Suho's ears reddened at what the maknae said.

"Yah!" And they started chasing each other.

"Baek? You okay?" Chen asked, worry evident in his tone.

Baekhyun knotted his forehead.

"Uhm yes, why?"

"You look pale."

"I'm fine." Baekhyun assured him with a smile.

"How could you be fine if you're not taking this with you?" Chanyeol said, hovering a bottle of supplements over Baekhyun's head.

'He's really small.' Chanyeol smilingly thought to himself.

"Ah shoot! That explains why i felt like i left something. Haha thanks Chanyeol." Baekhyun said, almost stuttering, but smiling, as he took the bottle from the giant's hold.

"Chanyeol?" Xiumin questioned leaning on the wall.

At the same time, Kyungsoo went out of the kitchen arching a brow on them.

He's in a sky blue apron with bunny prints, which was given by a fan btw.

"Since when did you call him 'Chanyeol'? Well of course except on national TV and public appearances, if i was not mistaken, you call him 'Yeol', 'Chan', 'Park', or either 'Yoda', right?" Kyungsoo doubtingly asked.

"I've called him that since then, what's wrong with that?"

"Yeah right, you're just so... ugh nevermind."

Chanyeol and Baekhyun remained silent through out the flight.

They're beside each other but it seems that they aren't.

'Will this barrier ever disappear?' Both of them had the same question in their minds.

At the airport, fans greeted them lovingly. Chanbaek were walking beside each other making the fans go wild and in just a blink of an eye, Baekhyun had his arm bleeding due to a scratch.

"Aaah!"

As if on cue, Chanyeol turned Baekhyun around to check what just happened.

He looked around with gritted teeth, searching for the culprit.

"Baek, you okay?"

He's being happy. And Baekhyun doesn't know if it's right to feel this but he just can't help it. Chanyeol being caring like this makes his heart pound with glee.

Once they were inside the hotel room, Chanyeol started cleaning Baekhyun's wound.

Chanyeol's face showed no emotions although his eyes clearly shows how worried he is.

Damn. Since when did he become so unaware of his surroundings!? Chanyeol thought.

Lay greeted him with a knotted forehead and hands on his head.

"Baekhyun! Have you seen my sunglasses!? Ugh!" Lay said in an obviously irritated tone.

Baekhyun chuckled and took the pair on Lay's chest. "Hyung."

He chuckled once more before putting them on Lay.

He laughed too and patted Baekhyun's head.

Meanwhile..

A pair of eyes are heated, staring at them as if he'd eat them alive.

Eyes that's burning because of jealousy.

I'm not jealous! Why would i be?!

Lemme slap you for lying.

Who in the earth would be as clingy to everyone as he is?!

And that's definitely not jealousy. I tell you that.

"Will you two stop that? Someone's jealous." Suho said half-heartedly laughing.

"Just tell me it's you." Baekhyun said, laughing.

"Hyung, i can't believe how dense you are." Said Jongin

Concert.

"..it's the love shot."

EXO is currently playing with the fans when Lucky suddenly played.

It wasn't in the songlist, so definitely, it's played to let Jongin prepare since it's his solo dance up next.

Abruptly, Sehun grabbed Baekhyun by his waist and positioned him beside himself.

"Shall we give them a show?" Sehun huskily whispered.

"O-oh okay.." And with that, Sehun went behind to hug Baek from the waist.

Tight.

The fans went wild.

Some are pleased, some are not.

Some has nothing to hold onto against Baek. Some are not pleased to see Baekhyun flirting with other guys than Yeol, and some are annoyed because Sebaek might outnumber Chanbaek.

Chanyeol himself isn't so pleased, too.

And maybe out of strong emotions, (i don't have any idea what emotions those are because he's denying the fact that he's.. you know, jealous.) He pulled Baekhyun an pulled him behind the stage.

He pinned Baekhyun on the wall and took deep breaths numerous times.

"What do you think you're doing!?" Chanyeol said through gritted teeth, his breath heavily pounding on his chest.

Baekhyun kept his gaze down, he just can't stand looking at the man in front on him. He can't withstand the anger rising up on Chanyeol's face.

Chanyeol slid his hand down to Baekhyun's slender waist.

Which made the fans grow wilder, even in the dim light.

All eyes are on them, but Chanyeol seems not to care.

The only thing Chanyeol wants to do right now is to show everyone that Byun Baekhyun is damn his.

He just can't fight it anymore. He feels like bursting from different emotions if he kept on hiding what he truly feels.

Seven damn years, he hid it from everyone, he hid it even from s, from Baekhyun.

HE HID IT FROM HIMSELF.

He just can't believe that it's really what he feels, he never imagined it happening his whole life. He just woke up one day, that yeah.

He's inlove with Baekhyun already.

Before, he was unsure, he doesn't want to be judged just because he fell inlove with his co-member, but knowing the world, he knew that whatever he do, people are always there to judge him.

He pushed Baekhyun away and distanced himself from the man he's starting to have feelings for  because he thought that this uncertain feeling would go away.

But he was wrong, it even grew stronger.

But now he's ready, and he believes that they will surpass anything as long as they're together.

And now he's letting go.

He stooped down to press his forehead on the smaller's.

"Byun Baekhyun. You are mine." Chanyeol said, almost breathless.

"This body..." and he pulled Baekhyun closer..

"Is mine.."

Baekhyun wanted Chanyeol to stop whatever he's doing, not because he doesn't want it, he's loving every bit of it, but he's feeling embarassed.

"Y-y-yeol...we're being flashed o-on the big s-screen." Baekhyun said, his head ducked down.

But much to his surprise, Chanyeol just chuckled and lifted his chin.

"The hell i care." Chanyeol leaned down..

And as soon as the lights went out, Chanyeol immediately claimed what's his.

Chanyeol smiled at him which made Baekhyun blush.

Did we just really kiss? 

"Remember what i said Park Baekhyun, you. are. mine." Chanyeol said, smirking.

Park Baekhyun. The name sounded like music to Baekhyun's ears.

After so many hours, Baekhyun finally gathered his wits and smiled.

"Okay! As long as you're mine too." Baekhyun playfully said.

And with that, Chanyeol took hold of Baekhyun's hand all throughout the concert.

On the other hand, EXO themselves are happy for the two.

Especially Kim Jongin.

He's the happiest among EXO members, excluding Chanbaek themselves of course.

Since Chanbaek is already official, a certain giant will stop bugging his...

"Soo~ later okay? Hihi." Before proceeding to the stage, a silhouette (or so i thought, it's Kim Kai sorry) whispered to Kyungsoo.

But instead of answering him, Kyungsoo just turned around and widened his eyes while smiling, scary, ayt?

When their eyes met, which by the way i myself ain't sure how Kyung managed to look into the one his talking to, and smiled at him while emphasizing his gaze.

If it was me, i'd be horrified to see a smiling Kyungsoo, you'll never know when he's holding a knife behind his back.

But Jongin, well, being Jongin, he's all smiles as he went to the center.

He knew so well what he meant with that smile.

On the other hand, who has his mouth covered by his hands, stood Jaewon, their manager, who's having a hard time suppressing his screams.

Job well done Sehunnie, i'll give you a 24-hour video call with Luhan later for that..
