after the success of under19, the producers didn’t want to risk running the fame of the new group, 1the9, out completely. so what better way to indulge in the hot new group then to make a girl group that is completely their equivalent. a new group. more specifically a girl group. “a star is you” is a new survival show set to premiere in early 2019. it follows 18 carefully selected girls to battle it out to become their male counterparts, 1the9.
