TIFFANY'S POV:

 

"I'm back here in Korea!" I said to myself

I'm Hwang Tiffany,a 17 year old girl. Iskipped school for 6 years because of my intelligence and my determination to be a teacher. Being a teacher, for me, is my long lifetime dream ever since I was a child so I studied very hard in America and graduated with top honors susprising for my young age and now, I'm back in Korea to fullfill my dream.

"Where's Hyoyeon?" I said to myself

"Tiffany!!" I heard a voice say

"Hyoyeon!!" I shouted as I ran to her and hugged her

"You're back!! After 8 years of studying in America, you're back!!" Hyoyeon said

"I'm glad to be back." I smiled

"Tiffany, you're still the same old Tiffany with that beautiful eye smile." Hyoyeon said

"Thank you. Hyoyeon. You dyed your hair blonde!" I said

"Neh. It doesn't look good?" Hyoyeon asked

"Of course it looks good on you!!" I said

"Thank you." Hyoyeon said

"Are you sure about me living with you? Won't it be a bother?" I asked

"Ani it won't. We're best friends. Besides, I think that it's going to be fun." Hyoyeon said

"Thank You. When I earn enough money from my salary, I'll buy my own house." I said

"You're going to be a great teacher here. Too bad you don't get to teach in my school." Hyoyeon pouted

"Mianhe but I want to teach in Seoul High School, where my parents met and where they worked as teachers." I said

"It's okay. I want to go to that school too but I don't have enough money for it." Hyoyeon said

Aigoo....Hyoyeon I wish you would study where I'm going to work so that we'd spend time with each other.

"It sure is good to be back in Korea after 8 years." I said

"I know. I'm glad we kept our friendship in a long distance." Hyoyeon smiled

"Neh. Let's go now." I said as we started walking out of the airport

I'm back....finally back. I already applied for the job in Seoul High School long distance and they accepted me straight away because of my grades. Appa, umma, I'll surely fullfill my dream to make you two proud.

*THE DRIVE TO HYOYEON'S HOUSE*

"We're here. The house may not be that big but still it's big enough for the two of us." Hyoyeon said

"Hyoyeon, will your umma mind?" I asked

"Aniyo. She still knows you and she always liked you being my friend." Hyoyeon said

"Oh good." I said

Hyoyeon's dad actually left her and her umma but I'm glad that despite all this, Hyoyeon is still a very strong girl. She's actually really lucky to have her mom while I......my parents died a long time ago when I was only 5 years old because of an unfortunate accident and the one who took care of me was my loving aunt.

"Hyoyeon, you dream of being a teacher too right?" I asked

"Neh. A dance teacher." Hyoyeon said

"That's good for you." I smiled

"By the way Tiffany, what will you be teaching?" Hyoyeon asked

"Like my parents did, I'll teach English." I said as Hyoyeon went to the kitchen

"Tiffany, you must be really good at English." Hyoyeon said

"You could say that." I smiled

"By the way Tiffany, when do you start your job?" Hyoyeon asked as she was preparing two bowls

"In two days." I said

"Do you want to eat Korean food or American food?" Hyoyeon asked

"I prefer American food like hamburgers, pizza, pasta and lots more!" I said

"Aigoo....okay I have pizza here." Hyoyeon said as she took out a box in the fridge

"YAY!" I said as I ran to the kitchen 

"Tiffany, you're going to work at Seoul High School right?" Hyoyeon asked

"Neh." I said as I took the slice of pizza

"Aren't you feeling weird that you're going to be the same age as the students? Some of them might be even older than you." Hyoyeon said as she took her slice of pizza

"Well....it does feel weird but that doesn't stop me from fullfilling my dream." I said

"I just want to tell you something Tiffany....Seoul High School...it's known for....." Hyoyeon said but couldn't finish what she was saying

"Known for what?" I asked as I started eating my pizza

"Well....there are these two boys that.....are dangerous." Hyoyeon said

"Mwoh?" I asked as I stopped eating my pizza

"Neh. I've heard some rumors." Hyoyeon said as she brought two glasses

"What rumors?" I asked as I took another bite of pizza

"I don't really know. I study at an all-girls public school and Seoul High School is a co-ed school for the rich and smart so I don't really know if the rumors are true." Hyoyeon said as she poured water into the glasses

"What are the rumors?" I asked

"They say that a lot of trouble happens there and the ones who do it get away with it using money." Hyoyeon said as she drank her glass of water

"Troublemakers? No need to worry. All schools have naughty kids and it's a teacher's job to change them for the better." I said as I took my glass of water and started drinking it.

"I'm worried for you Tiffany. You're the same age as them, some are even older than you." Hyoyeon said as she finished drinking her glass of water

"Worried for me?" I asked as I finished drinking my glass of water

"Neh. The students there might not take you seriously." Hyoyeon said

"True....some of them might not but I believe that I will be able to do my job really well." I smiled

"Just be careful Tiffany." Hyoyeon said

"Neh neh arasso arasso." I said

"And your job starts in two days." Hyoyeon said

"Let's go to bed. It's already 10:00pm." I said

"I can't. I still have to do some homework." Hyoyeon said

"Homework?" I asked

"Neh. Math homework." Hyoyeon said

"Aigoo....mianhe if I took up your time. Today's a Sunday and you probably didn't get to do some of your homework because you picked me up from the airport." I said

"Aniyo Tiffany. It's not your fault at all. I really am busy." Hyoyeon said

"Oh...I remember you telling me about...a month ago that you became the student council vice-president!!" I said

"Neh Tiffany." Hyoyeon said

"That's great for you!! Congratulations!" I said as I started jumping

"Aigoo Tiffany you already congratualted me." Hyoyeon said

"But I didn't congratulate you in person." I said as I stopped jumping

"I should do my homework now. Goodnight Tiffany." Hyoyeon smiled

"Goodnight Hyoyeon. Where's my room by the way?" I asked

"It's over there." Hyoyeon said as she pointed to a room

"Kamsahamnida Hyoyeon really. Kamsahamnida." I said bowing

"We're best friends so don't mention it." Hyoyeon smiled

"Neh. Goodnight." I said once again

"Goodnight." Hyoyeon said as I walked to my room and went inside

Oh....what a day....I'm so excited! When I sleep and wake up tomorrow, I'll sleep again and wake up again and that will be the start of my dream!! Appa, umma, I think that both of you up there in heaven are proud of me for being a teacher in the school where you met, studied, graduated and worked in. My dream....is comming true!

 

*TWO DAYS LATER*

 

I wake up from bed and realize....omo!! Today is it!! AAAHHH I'm so excited!! I get ready by taking a bath and dressing up. I walk out of my room and go downstairs and see Mrs. Kim making breakfast.

"Good Morning Mrs. Kim." I said as I walked down the stairs

"Why good morning Tiffany." Mrs. Kim said

"The food looks great." I said

"Neh Tiffany. I'm glad that Hyoyeon has a friend like you." Mrs. Kim said

"I'm glad to have a friend like her too." I said

"Aigoo....Hyoyeon's still not awake? She's going to be late for school!" Mrs. Kim said

"I'll wake her up." I said as I went up the stairs and headed to her room

"Hyoyeon!! You're going to be late for school!" I said as I held Hyoyeon's arm

"Mmmm....umma wait....five minutes....." Hyoyeon said with her eyes still closed

"I'm not your umma!! I'm Tiffany!!" I said

"Mmmm...wait....." Hyoyeon said

"Aigoo Hyoyeon fine five minutes." I said and Hyoyeon didn't respond after that because she continued to sleep

*FIVE MINUTES HAVE PASSED*

"Five mintues have passed! It's already 7:30am and school starts at 8:00am." I said

Me saying that will probably get her up already. In 3...2...1...and....

"MWOH?! I'M GOING TO BE LATE!!" Hyoyeon said as she quickly got up

I was right

"Why didn't you wake me up before?!" Hyoyeon asked

"I woke you up but you said five minutes." I said

"Aigoo! I better get ready!! And fast!" Hyoyeon said as she quickly went into the shower

"I better go downstairs now." I said to myself as I went out of Hyoyeon's room and went down the stairs

"Is Hyoyeon ready?" Mrs. Kim asked

"Aniyo not yet but she will in a few minutes." I said

*10 MINUTES LATER*

"I'm going to be late!!" Hyoyeon said as she ran down the stairs

"Hyoyeon, let's eat." Mrs. Kim said as she prepared the food

"Neh umma neh." Hyoyeon said as she quickly sat down in the chair

"This food is good Mrs. Kim." I said

"Thank you Tiffany. It's surprising that you're going to be a teacher for your age." Mrs. Kim said

"Neh and it's exciting me." I said

"Hyoyeon here is studying really hard too to be a dance teacher in the future right Hyoyeon?" Mrs. Kim asked

"Neh umma. It's my dream." Hyoyeon said

"Come to think of it, when we were kids, Hyoyeon you'd always enter dance competitions and you would always win." I said as I finished my meal and drank a glass of water

"Neh." Hyoyeon said as she finished her meal and drank a glass of water

"You girls better get going now. You girls might be late." Mrs. Kim said

"Neh. Goodbye." Hyoyeon and I said as Hyoyeon opened the door

"Goodbye." Mrs. Kim said as we went out of the door

"We better hurry." Hyoyeon said as we walked to the bus station

"I'm really excited!" I said

"I'm happy for you Tiffany." Hyoyeon said

"Are we going to take different directions?" I asked

"Neh I guess so. From this bus station, Seoul High School's direction is to the right while mine is to the left." Hyoyeon said

"Aww...goodbye Hyoyeon. Have a nice day at school!" I said as I got in a bus

"Bye Tiffany! Good luck with your job!" Hyoyeon said as she got in a different bus

I went in the bus and sat down in my seat. Aigoo.....I'm finally going to be a teacher. I can't believe it!! The bus ride was about fifteen minutes and the door opened. I saw a building with the sign "Seoul High School". This is it! 

"Kamsahamnida." I said to the driver as I paid him

"Deh." the driver said as I went out of the bus

I went around the school....it's really really big!! Well, it is the most prestigious, wealthy and top high school in South Korea. 

 

"I can't believe it!! My long time dream is about to come true!!" I said

I should get in now. It's weird too. They're all the same age as me, some younger by only a year or two, some older by maybe a year but they all have uniforms while I don't. I started hearing whispers too.

"Who's that?" a girl asked

"A new student? She's beautiful." another said

"But she isn't wearing a high school uniform." another said

"She can't be an employee, she looks too young. She probably hasn't bought her uniform yet." another said

"Yeah, you're right. I have a feeling she's in our class." another said

"I know! Let's go." another said

Is that what they think of me? Well, I'm not surprised that they think that I'm a student.

"Well appa, umma, my long time dream....I hope that you are both proud of me because I wont dissappoint you both!" I told myself as I entered the school

"Oooo....this school looks even bigger in the inside. This brings me back to when I was a student in America. I should go to the principal's office...wherever that is...aigoo....this place is so big I might get lost. I should ask someone." I told myself

I look around and look for someone to ask but everyone's busy talking to one another. I shouldn't ask them because I might bother them....hmmm...I see a boy in his locker. Tall one too and....he's so cute!! I bet he's the school crush here. I should ask him.

"Excuse me but do you know where the principal's office is?" I asked as he faced me

"You're beautiful." he said

Aigoo...he's so cute!! Ani Tiffany what are you thinking?! You musn't!! You're a teacher and he's a student!!

"Can you please tell me where the principal's office is?" I asked

"Sure." he said 

Aish...he's so cute!! Maybe I'm at least allowed to have a crush on him but no relationship Tiffany. Remember, you're a TEACHER a TEACHER and the number one rule that you should follow is to not have a relationship with your students....even if you've never had a boyfriend since you were too focused on your studies. 

"Why aren't you wearing a uniform?" he asked as we walked

"Ummm....I'm not supposed to. Are we here?" I asked trying to change the subjet

"Neh it's right over there." he said as he pointed to the door

"Ah...kamsahamnida." I said

"See you." he said as he left

Aigoo...he's so cute! Aigoo.......enough Tiffany enough of the thoughts. I went inside the office and see a man sitting down.

"Annyeong. I'm Hwang Tiffany, the new teacher here." I said

"I know you. Here's your schedule and here's a map of the school. Everything you need to know are in these papers." he said as he handed me the papers

"Kamsahamnida." I said as I took the papers

"You will be teaching one of the senior classes and you will be their adviser. I have very high expectations of you since you do have remarkable grades and you graduated with top honors in America." he said

"Deh." I said

"You may go now." he said

"Deh." I said as I held the doorknob

"Oh and one more thing." he said

"What is it?" I asked

"NO relationships with the students Ms. Hwang." he said

"What made you think about that?" I asked

"You are around the same age as the students so I'm warning you. If you do have one, you'll be fired in this school." he said

"De-deh. Arasso." I said

"You may go now." he said

"Deh." I said as I opened the door and went out

"Hmm...I completely understand." I told myself as I started walking down the hallways

This place is big but the maps are easy to read...in fact....this place is big enough to have a map in case you get lost. I walk and walk until I see a classroom. 

"3-A. This must be it." I told myself as I got in the clasroom

"Good Morning class." I said
