"okay. so how we gonna look for his wife?" johnny look at the members

"i dont know. we search all place inside this house. no secret room, no dead body" jaehyun sigh and fix his cap

"we only found his wife's clothes in the closet. its almost 6 pm. we need to find her as soon as possible. what we gonna do boss?" yuta look at jay who's leaning on the door frame facing the garden, looking towards the officer with a dog.

jay suddenly face the members "wait. seo hoon said we maybe find them on his workplace and we did. so does about the garden. he is not lying."

"then her wife could be in the walls?" taeyong fold his hand

"in the wall? in this house? really?!" renjun widened his eyes and look around the house

"hey" jay call the officer with the dog

he bow to her "yes, ma'am?"

"i need the dog" she look at the officer who's at first confuse but hesitate to hand her the dog "he doesnt like anyone beside me" the officer rub the dog's head

jay roll her eyes and kneel one knee to be in the same level as the dog. "if you like me give me your hand" jay show her palms to the dog and the dog put his paw on jay's palms

"i guess youre not the only one he like" she raise her eyebrow and the members watching them from earlier just smile

"what are you doing? you want to play with the dog now?" haechan look at jay with are-you-kidding-me expression but he got glared by her

"the dog is well-trained. you said there were his wife's clothes right?" she look at yuta and he nod

"if she is here. then we will find it. lets go buddy" the dog follow her as instructed and jay open the closet, taking one of the wife cloth and let the dog smell it.

"get it buddy? go" the dog sniff the floor and make jay run with it toward the stairs. the members just follow them from behind. the dog lead them into the man's room and keep barking at the room.

"okayy good job buddy" she pat the dog's head

"hold him for me" she give the dog leash to haechan but the dog growl

"oh i hate you too" haechan tongues out to the dog

"he is good guy buddy" jay pat the dog again

"okay so its here?" xiaojun knock on the wall

"probably" jay knock on the wall too

"i think its here. its sound empty at the back" xiaojun point the wall he knock just now

"okay we need to find something to break it" jay look around

taeyong take a metal chair near him "this might work" the others move aside when he lift up the chair and throw it to the wall

"its work" jaehyun make a bump fist with taeyong.

jay peel out the board material walls with her hand and yuta help her. an unpleasent smell running through their nose.

"ugh again?" renjun nag while cover his nose using his shirt

all of them doesnt spoke anything when they saw a rot dead body cover in transparent plastic.

"oh " renjun cover his mouth and run out of there

"i will check on him" jaemin run after renjun

"get the forensic here" jay giving order but not mentioning anyone. the forensic unit come into the room after taeyong call them

"lets go buddy" jay take the leash from haechan and walk out of the house

"he is a good dog" jay hand the dog to the officer back

"yeah he is" the officer smile like a proud father

jay kneel and pat the dog "what his name?"

"its gi" the officer smile

"wuu. you just brave just like your name gi" jay rub the dog's body with both of her hand

("gi" in korean mean 'brave')

"she good at handling dog too" jaehyun suddenly speak while stretching his hand

mark put his hand on his pocket "yeah. she trained with the k9 unit back then. she even adopt a retired dog from the unit"

"a retired dog? what for?" haechan interfere them

"to be a pet of course" jaehyun look at haechan face with disbelief and walk away. mark tap haechan's shoulder and leave him too

"ahh why? why everyone leaving me? did i say something wrong" haechan mumble to himself while walking

"going to the center" mark approaching jay and she nod

"i will send you. get in" mark smile

"oh wait. where is doyoung?" jay speak through their walkie talkie  

"im here. why?" doyoung replied

"oh. make sure you handle the reporter. they are so loud"

"got it" doyoung nod as if jay was infront of him

"lets go" she get in a car and mark close the door for her

as jay finish doing her paper which was the one she doesnt like to do the most, she look at the clock already showing almost 1 a.m .

she stretch out before standing up and tidy up her desk before going out from her office.

"oh. who is that" jay pouting and talk to herself after seeing someone sleep on the couch with a laptop on his body.

'ahh who care' she talk in her mind and continue to walk. she stop infront of the door, turn around and sigh.

she take a spare blanket that was already prepare on the center. 'ohh its taeyong' she slowly take the laptop and put it on the table.

she cover him with a blanket "you gonna catch a cold if you sleep here" jay mumble to herself and give him a small smile.

before she can take her hand back, taeyong pull her hand. she almost fall on taeyong's top if she didnt hold herself with the other hand. her pointed nose almost meet taeyong's nose. she was so shock that she couldnt even move her body and its feel like time was stopping for a moment.

"oh? jay?" taeyong still in his sleepy mode. it was so obvious from his eyes that was half open. jay couldnt denied taeyong's woke up voice make her flutter. after she come back to her sense, she pull out her hand and touch her chest. she still can feel her heart beat so fast.

"i must be out of my mind" she take her bag and walk out of there hurriedly

"uh?" taeyong who still open his eyes half way look at her walking out until she disappear from his view. he look at the blanket and smile like a fool.

"morning" taeyong smile to the member as he put his bag on the chair

"uh? did something good happen to you? or you have a sweet dream?" taeil raise his eyebrow over taeyong's odd action

"what? its not like i never wish you guys good morning before" taeyong pout

"hm yep. you never hyung" jisung chew his chewing gum while his eyes roaming around the room avoiding to make an eye contact with taeyong.

taeyong look at johnny who smiling, he raise his eyebrow at the member who seem to be agree with jisung.

taeyong roll his eyes "whatever" "but where is jay?" he continue

"dont know. she go out again after come to her office. probably have a meeting with the commissioner" yuta bite his lips

"ahh im hungry" jaehyun hold his stomach and take a sit on his chair

mark stare at him "you didnt take your breakfast?"

"i woke up late today. so i dont get to eat anything" he sigh

"oww thats so sad. but im so full that i cant eat no more" lucas tap his stomach and dance some stupid move infront of him

"hish" lucas hurrriedly run as jaehyun get up from his seats

"you guys better stop before captain come here" taeil talk to both of them but they are not listening

"got ya" jaehyun pull lucas's jacket and almost knock his head

"its still in the morning. and you guys playing already?" jay take a look on her watch then to jaehyun and lucas who's the only one standing with their head down

"speak of the devil" kun mumble to himself

"this. eat it" she put two bags full with sandwich on taeyong's desk. she look at taeyong's face but pretend to look another way when taeyong look at her.

"woahh. you buy for us?" lucas smile and walk to taeyong's desk

"you said you cant eat anymore just now right. shuhh" jaehyun push lucas but not to hard

"i still can eat if she's buying it for me" lucas take his sandwich and tongues out at jaehyun who just glare at him

"yahh. like expected. youre the best" haechan give her thumbs up

"tsk. you only call me the best when i buy you guys food" she put her hand in her pocket

"ehe" haechan forcely smile "but there is no drink?" he continue

"aish this kid. never feel grateful" doyoung hit haechan's back head and he just pout

"i did buy an instant coffee packet too. put it in the kitchen so you guys can share it" she point which bag it is with her lips

"why did people here suddenly become good. ttskk thats odd" jisung stare at taeyong first then at jay

"dont misunderstood. im just buying because you guys did a good job yesterday" she avoid making an eye contact with the members and make her way to her office while the member thanks her non stop until she close her door

as they working at their own desk, the center telephone is ringing. yuta get up to take the call.

"sci" yuta said as soon he put the phone on his ear

"yeah sure. send the file to us. okay. your welcome" with that yuta end the call

"got a case" yuta look at the member

"jisung. they will be sending the file to us. bring it to the meeting room if you receive the file" yuta look at jisung and he nod

"lets go to the meeting room" taeyong get up from his chair and followed by the others

"i will get her" yuta walk seperately from them, heading to jay's office

"yes" jay answer after she saw yuta knock on the door

"got a case. lets go"

"hm. give me ten minutes. you go first" she answering without looking at yuta's face and continue whatever she is doing in the laptop

"well. okay" yuta knitted his eyebrow. feeling something is off

"hey. where is boss?" xiaojun ask yuta right when he come into the meeting room

"she is in her office. she said she will be here in 10 minutes" yuta bite his lips

"what do you mean 10 minutes? we got a case right now" mark stare at yuta and he shrugged his shoulder to
