*Lisa's POV*

It's been two weeks after that eventful party. And things remained the same. Aside from the fact na I can't look Jennie in the eye whenever she asks me if we're fine. Since marinig ko yung usapan nila, my thoughts were clouded and I can't think of anything else. I might be overthinking and overreacting pero even I myself know that maybe I'm just too broken beyond repair. And maybe I feel a little guilty about needing Jennie all the time. Na I have no reason to be even slightly mad at her for talking to Rosé about me.  It's just too much for me and I feel like it's taking a toll on my mental state.

Now I'm at the office stuck with paperworks. I heard someone knock at the door. It was Seulgi. 

"Have you heard the news, Lisa?" tanong niya sakin. "Anong news?" tanong ko naman.

"Mag-memerge daw yung firm with one of the country's biggest corporations." she replied. "Wow, that's a pretty big step. And a very random one." sagot ko naman.

"Maganda daw ang plan ng Park Group of Companies, kaya go agad ang firm natin." pageexplain pa niya. Wait, Park Group of Companies? Meaning.. Rosé and her family's company?

"Oh." yun nalang ang nasabi ko. "Bago daw boss natin by next week. Masungit daw, Li. Huhuhuhu." sabi pa ni Seul.

"It's Rosé, Seul." I casually said as I continued  fixing my desk and the papers on top of it. "Wait----? For real, though?" tanong niya ulit.

"Yes. I'm sure."  sagot ko. "Will you be okay?" she asked. "Of course. Ilang  years na yun Seul." I uttered. 

"Just.. tell me if there's something wrong, okay?" She said as she reached over my shoulder and gave it a slight  pinch. "Okay, Seul. Thanks. Trabaho na tayo." sagot ko sabay tingin skanya at kumndat naman siya.

It's lunch time and I decided to just have a sandwich at coffee sa cafeteria kaya naman I headed towards the elevator. 27th floor ang office ko at nasa ground floor ang cafeteria. Mag-isa lang ako sa elevator when it stopped at the 24th floor and a woman wearing a red dress came in alone. Pinaglalaruan siguro ako ng tadhana. It was Rosé. She smiled at me, as if she didn't remember what she did to me five years ago, I didn't have the courage to  smile back. I just stood there.

"Can we talk? I promise I won't bother after. I just need to clear out everything." sabi niya bigla. Napahigpit ang kapit ko sa blazer ko.

"Okay." I replied. "I have an hour til I have to get back to work. Boss naman ata kita diba." dagdag ko pa.

"Thank you, Lisa." reply naman niya.

Napagpasyahan naming sa isang malapit na coffee shop mag-usap dahil siguro na din sa dami ng tao ngayon sa cafeteria and it would be weird if I talked to my future boss nang hindi pa alam ng iba na siya ang papalit naming boss.

"Hi Nayeon. The usual for me please. How about you? White Mocha, right?" I asked the redhead beside me as I ordered our coffee. Rosé smiled and nodded. "You still remember?" tanong pa niya. "How can I forget that one time na natapunan mo yung favorite shirt ko with your White Mocha. Pasalamat ka Iced yun, kundi di kita kakausapin ngayon." sabi ko naman as we laughed.

"How about the vanilla cake, Lisa? Would you like to add it to your order?" tanong ni Nayeon, yung barista. "Not today. Jennie's at work, eh." sagot ko naman.

So ayun we headed over to one of the tables and sat there. I drank my coffee and we sat there in silence. 

"So.." we both uttered at the same time and then we laughed. "Mauna ka na, go on." sabi ko.

"I'm sorry for everything, Lisa." she said as she heaved a sigh. "I'll go straight with the explaining if you won't mind... I-- I needed to undergo an operation abroad. I was sick... that's the reason why my parents were so strict.. I had to undergo a transplant. And nung nalaman nila na I was seeing you. They threatened me na if I keep seeing you, they would take matters into their own hands." pagpapatuloy niya. Her voice was shaky and her eyes were teary. 

"I know that you probably  won't understand, but my parents.. They're like that. They even threatened me na they will take down the company where your dad is working. I had no other choice, Lisa. My family.. My parents wronged you and I. Pero they did it because th
