If she was to categorize how her life is going into a movie genre it would be a rom-com except it is hopelessly lacking in the romance department. Yuqi finds herself wondering why at the age of seventeen she has yet to experience a proper first date let alone a boyfriend.

Not wanting to brag but Yuqi believes that she’s pretty hecking cute with a good sense of humour to back it up. So why? Why is her love life so lacking? Oh wait never mind she remembers why it’s because she’s attached at the hip to a giant, a giant idiot that is.

Lucas a.k.a the giant idiot that has claimed the title as Yuqi’s best friend for the last six years ever since he moved schools. Loud, goofy and unintentionally charming in everything he does it’s not hard to love someone like Lucas which made him quite popular in high school. Unlike Yuqi his love life has always been exceptionally well a little too exceptional if you asked Yuqi.

Yuqi thought that after high school she would venture out on her own, finding a new path or at least that’s what she had planned until a certain someone decided to tag along. So now follow these two as they start the next chapter in their life (to Yuqi’s own dismay) with Yuqi trying to find herself a love life that has gone missing for the last seventeen years and Lucas… being Lucas.

As individuals they both have cute and bright personalities so warning this fanfic is going to consist of fluff and a few clichés because I can totally picture Lucas throwing in some god aweful pick up lines.
