"Gwi!! C'mon. Quick, quick"

Gwiboon was washing the dinner plates when all of a sudden she heard Onsook calling for her from outside that she almost dropped one plate. It was a cold silent night. A perfect night to get under the blanket as soon as possible and have a good night sleep. But Onsook didn't really agree with her saying that they should spend some time out in the garden.

Onsook kept on calling for her so loudly that Gwiboon finally got out of her apron and walked outside so that atleast their neighboors can have some peaceful sleep.

"Sookie you are being so loud"

Onsook was sitting on the front door steps looking up. The night sky was the loveliest ever. The glorious full moon shining brightly in the middle of millions of little twinkling stars. Their brightness lighted the entire garden like in a fairy tale. Gwiboon had always loved the moon. She looked at it when she was sad, when she was happy, when she wanted to talk with someone. It has always been something special to her.

When you said you looked a mess, I whispered underneath my breath
But you heard it, darling, you look perfect tonight

 

 

"Hi"

She was carried back to the earth by a smiling Onsook. Wow. Who wouldn't fall for that smile?

"Hi"

"You want to have a sit?"

She patted the cold floor beside her like a small kid making Gwiboon fall in love all over again. The younger one sat next to her and again started to stare at the sky.

"Isn't it so beautiful?"

"It really is"

"You wanna know what is even more beautiful?"

"Me?"

Onsook mentally slapped herself for that.

"God my jokes are becoming really old. You're too much used for them"

They both giggled, still looking up.

"Can you see a bunny?"

Gwiboon asked.

"Where?"

The older one stared at the moon more ernestly.

"Right beside me"

Gwiboon giggled at her own little joke which made Onsook giggle as well.

Minutes passed with nothing but a peaceful silence with the two of them enjoying the coolness of the night and being closer to each other.

 

 

Well I found a woman, stronger than anyone I know
She shares my dreams, I hope that someday I'll share her home
I found a love, to carry more than just my secrets
To carry love, to carry children of our own

 

 

"Do you wanna dance?"

Onsook asked out of the blue.

"Now?"

"Yes"

"You're crazy"

"No I'm not"

Onsook sat up and stood in front of the younger.

"Do I have the honor of dancing with you, my princess?"

Gwiboon rolled her eyes even while blushing all over herself which made Onsook smile more.

"Yes you do"

She took her hand and the two walked to the garden which was lighted by the moonlight making the perfect dance floor with wet grass under their feet waking them up from their slight sleepiness.

They slow danced to the rhythm of their heart beats. The coldness didn't bother them since they had the warmth being in between each other's arms.

Gwiboon wouldn't have got over her insecurities if not for Onsook. Onsook wouldn't have been happy if not for Gwiboon. They were each other's pillars in bad times. Their love story had so many ups and downs but nothing could stop them. 

It wasn't perfect all the time. But right that moment when they softly whispered to each other's ears, everything was perfect. Their love was perfect for their eyes.

"I love you too my bummie"
