"Hyejoo, I like her." Hyejoo flickered her eyes at the sunshine girl beside her, did she just hear what she thinks she heard? "Say what again?" Yerim sighed and looked at her straight in the eye, Hyejoo raised a brow but paid attention to her

"I like Chaewon and not in a friendly way." Hyejoo's eyes widened, a gasp almost escaped her but she managed to keep it "THE Park Chaewon?" Oh boi...

"Yes, The Park Chaewon also known as GoWon, a girl who likes butterflies blue ones in particular and that she's the princess of the school-" Hyejoo shushed her harshly "I know, I heard you the first time."

Yerim smiled at her best friend, seeing as her eyes are now forming cresents in front of her "Let's go get her before anyone else does!" Hyejoo whisper-shouted and showed a fist bump, Yerim smiled at the silliness but bumped back nonetheless

School ended and the two went home as always, seeing as they're next door neighbors there's nothing to worry about seperating ways

As soon as Hyejoo entered her house she got greeted by barrage of arms wrapping her sides "Jiwoo unnie... you know you don't have to do that everytime I come home." Jiwoo hummed and kept her arms around Hyejoo "Ah- Jungeun unnie is here" and the older stood up properly scanning the room

Hyejoo laughed as she recieved a slap on her shoulder "You're such a meanie you know that Hyejoo?" Jiwoo huffed out and the younger chuckled at the older's actions, sometimes she questions who more mature between the two

"Well I gotta go, I need to make a fool-proof confession plan" Hyejoo headed for the stairs but a strong grip stopped her "A confession plan? Who are you exactly confessing to?" She smirked at Jiwoo and the grip loosened around her wrist "Oh my God, Am I going to see mastermind Hyejoo in action?!" Hyejoo smiled brightly at the nickname

"Hye, Can we call Sooyoung, Jinsol, and Jungeun to have an outing if this confession plan works out?" Hyejoo perked up and smiled geniunely, Jiwoo chuckled at her and released her wrist from her grip "You better update me about everything!"

Hyejoo gave a thumbs up and walked to her room, spending an hour processing what to do and after the staring at the ceiling for too long, Yerim's fool-proof confession plan for Chaewon went to the blueprints

Few days pass and Hyejoo kept working on the confession plan, updating Yerim and Jiwoo about the little details and when the two saw some parts that were too absurd, Hyejoo scratched it out immediatly and after days of planning, It was finally ready

The two went to school super early even beating the teachers themselves, "You ready?" Hyejoo looked at the girl beside her being a nervous wreck in front of an empty classroom, in her hands were some eden green helium balloons "I'm not ready." Hyejoo sighed and squished her shoulder tightly "Yerim, Do not throw away your shot."

Hyejoo smiled when she saw Yerim loosen up from that sentence, she made too much references already but this one was needed and appropriate right now "You and your references..." Yerim sighed and entered the room "Step One complete, now tie the balloons" Hyejoo laughed when Yerim glared at her remark

Hyejoo watched as she tied the balloons to Chaewon's chair and walked away, clapping her hands at Yerim which was rewarded with slap on her shoulder "Well your day one duty is complete and I need to do my part."

Early lunch came for Hyejoo since she was stuck in the clinic pretending to be sick, she dashed for the cafeteria and went past a few classrooms which earned her looks from the teachers

Where is that girl?! Hyejoo internally screamed when the cafeteria was completely empty aside from the servers, scanning the area properly she finally saw her "There you are!"

The girl sprung out from the bench and smiled at Hyejoo, gesturing her to come closer "Jeon Heejin." Heejin cringed at the phrase "Hye, just call me Heejin." Hyejoo shooked her head "Until you can beat me at Mario Kart, sure" The older's eyebrows furrowed and raised a fist in front of her face "Calm down, I still need to get that aquaintance for Yerim."

"I thought you liked Chae though, thought you said something about that." Hyejoo laughed and shooked her head sideways denying her words "So, Who do you like then?" Hyejoo rasied a brow in suspision "No one at the moment." Heejin gasped and Hyejoo pursed her lips together

"You serious?!" Hyejoo sighed and nodded at her "That is unbelievable, The Son Hyejoo doesn't like anyone?!" Hyejoo just shrugged her shoulders as an answer "Anyways don't tell anyone that ok? I might get clowned so here's the plan..."

After laughing, playing, teasing and finally discussing with each other, the bell ringed and the two girls heard doors opening and the cafeteria soon became an ocean of hungry students, the two were keeping an eye out for their friends and when they finally saw them, they're being squished between the crowd

"Oof... for some reason I'm glad I pretended to be sick." Heejin gave Hyejoo the stink eye to which she just responded with her eyebrows raised "Anyways they're coming here, you know what to do alright?" Hyejoo asked and Heejin nodded

"HEEJIN!!!! THE TEACHER WAS SO BORING!" That tiny font voice was too recognizable and two girls came into view, one had dark-hair and the other blonde "Heejin the class was so boring!" Heejin chuckled at the blonde "Every class is boring for you Chae." The blonde nodded in agreement and noticed the raven-haired girl sitting in their table

"Uh Heej, care to introduce me to your friend?" The blonde said as she straightned herself, Hyejoo smiled at this but as Heejin was about to introduce her a smack rang through the table "HYEJOO, I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR YOU THE ENT–"

Hyejoo turned around and saw a blushing Yerim, "Sit down and stop making a fool out of yourself." Yerim did as she told and an obvious red crept its way to her neck "I'm glad I'm not in her position right now." Heejin laughed which gave Hyejoo a reason to glare at her "Anyways, Chaewon & Hyunjin meet Hyejoo & Yerim."

Yerim waved shyly while Hyejoo just smiled and the two waved back and throughout the entire lunch period, Yerim kept tripping over her words while Hyejoo and Heejin had a hard time trying to contain their laughter

"Day one is complete, Yerim and Chaewon are aquainted and everything will go as planned until the end." Hyejoo spoke enthusiasticly at Jiwoo "Damn Mastermind Hyejoo is amazing! And speaking of the events, Who do you like?" Hyejoo choked at the question Jiwoo gave "Seems like I hit a spot" Jiwoo grinned at the younger sitting beside her

Hyejoo kept coughing and pounding her chest to relieve herself "Damn, What the heck unnie!" Jiwoo laughed at her pain "And as for your question, I don't like anyone as of the moment." Jiwoo looked dumbfounded at the answer she was given

Days pass and everything has been going to plan, Yerim leaves gifts for Chaewon before classes start, the two got closer than ever and soon d-day will come

"This is so nerve-wracking." Yerim spoke nervously, Today was the day that Yerim finally confesses her feelings, its currently dismissal time and Chaewon is being led by Heejin through a series of "questions" Yerim prepared

Hyejoo and Yerim were standing in the rooftop waiting for the two to appear, Hyejoo is confident while Yerim was being a nervous wreck "... I wanna back out." Yerim turned away but Hyejoo grabbed her wrist and gripped it tightly "Say that one more time and I will be making a reference!"

Hyejoo eyed her and she nodded in defeat, Yerim tried her breathing exercises to calm down, Hyejoo kept her focus and a moment of confortable silence took over

Hyejoo chuckled at the text she recieved from her, Yerim stole a glance and placed a hand on "I didn't know you named Heejin as Heejout in your contacts! That's so punny" Hyejoo stopped what she was doing and looked so done with Yerim "I can't believe you said that..." The two erupted in silent laughter until a ding took their attention

Hyejoo set her phone on silent and kept it in her pocket "We'll be right here, Ok?" Hyejoo raised a fist but Yerim smiled and hugged her tightly "Thank you Hye" Hyejoo smiled warmly at the gesture and hugged her back

Hyejoo lifted Yerim up and placed her back on the ground "Go get your girl!" Hyejoo waved and hid behind the door, waiting for footsteps to be heard and soon that waiting ended "Oh my God... I forgot something Chaewon just keep going ok? FIGHTING!"

Hyejoo heard the upcoming footsteps and mouthed to Yerim to pretend she wasn't part of anything as Chaewon entered the rooftop, coming into view she slowly walked closer to Yerim until she was an arm's length away from her "Wow... so everything that I just went through the past few days was all you?"

Yerim side-eyed to where Hyejoo was hiding but she was already gone from her spot "Yeah It was me, though I did had some help."

Heejin and Hyejoo were quietly listening on the confession happening with Heejin holding onto Hyejoo's hand "Can you tell me why you planned this?" Hyejoo looked her in the eye and smiled "I know Yerim like the back of my hand, she's a girl who's too nice for others and sometimes forgets about her own happiness and since she helped me with so much I think it's time for me to return the favor."

Heejin chuckled at the answer she was given and soon the three words were said by Yerim, the two scurried from their hiding place, recording the moment on their phones

The silence was unnerving and suffocating and as each second that passes by Hyejoo felt anger boil up but got diffused when she saw Chaewon hug Yerim

Hyejoo leaned back on the wall and stopped her recording "Well I can finally say... Mission Accomplished." Heejin just looked at Hyejoo dumbfounded "Really?" The raven-haired girl just shrugged at her "Anyways my sister planned an outing later with her girlfriend and friends and I'm the guest of honor."

Heejin stared at her and Hyejoo returned the gaze "You wanna join?" Heejin chuckled and her eyes formed cresents My heart just did a thing. Heejin nodded and the two left the rooftop silently.
