Hearts on Detours
Description
An assassination plan that didn't actually end up with murder, and a case of soulmates who made everything unnecessarily harder for themselves? Sounds about right. (a.k.a the ssambbang and yulyen sorta-kinda-fantasy au no one asked for.)
A/N: UHHH, GUYS, I CAN EXPLAIN, THIS IS AN ACCIDENT, I SWEAR—okay, I did say that I need to take a break from writing to finish college, but this post tickled my brain and before I knew it I ended up with almost 5k words of what seem to be a few-chaptered fic written in msword. I'm going to try this out, in hopes to finish it within 3-5 chapters, so nothing too big—but updates might have a quite long interval because again, college. Please bear with me! I know where I want this story to go, so hopefully I'd get to witness the finish line along with you! Other than that, thank you for giving this story a chance, and happy reading :]
Foreword
Chaewon had never dreamt of discussing about her moral compass or work in general with any of her victims (or supposed to be victim, in this matter), but the day had gone weird since hours ago. Having a talk couldn’t be the strangest thing she’s about to do today, so she rubbed her temple and resigned herself to the way the wind blew.
//
Yuri bit her lower lip, glazing over the written incantations. She had them memorized—the book was more of a moral support, a lucky charm, if you would.
But there was one more thing, a support bigger than the book could ever be.
And she wondered.
