Mari heard crashing outside. She realized that she was sleeping inside the recording room. She

heard Jaejoong laughing and someone else. A woman. She stood up but halt as she came to her

senses. She bit her lips as she walks towards the door to shut it close. She carefully locked it and

went back to the chair. She cannot hear anything now but she is aware that they are there. She is

not that innocent anymore. She knows what will happen as soon as they enter Jaejoong’s room.

Her heart aches. “you wanted this Mari. Accept it” she whispered. “you don’t have the right to feel

jealous. You only work for him. He is not yours … but… you are his” Mari sobs. She cannot help

but to cry. It has been 3 years since she live with Jaejoong’s unit. He actually insisted because no

one should know the secret. That he lost his touch. He cannot write songs anymore. “more like he

doesn’t want to write anymore” Mari calm herself and faced the computer. She might as well write

songs again rather than sulk to what she cannot have. She will forever remain as a fangirl. Only

she gets to spend time with Jaejoong - Rarely. She played on the keyboards and after a while got

a nice tune. She kept on playing mumbling words. Jumble words. English, korean. “Just another

girl, another broken heart for me” she stopped. Her eyes widen as she realized that, that song will

be her theme. Her mind was clouded with lyrics she didn’t know she could think of. Her creative

juices are flowing. Mari started typing on the keyboard as words fill her head. Her aching heart is

telling her what to write. She tried to recall every woman whom she saw with him. Every heartache

she felt. Every heartache he felt. It is becoming a song. The story of a guy being betrayed of a

woman whom he trusted, loved and cherished. “I can’t take this no more…” she mumbles as she

type in. “I will tell my story inside your story Jaejoong ssi. The pain. The sadness. If only you would

try to let me take that away” Mari knows that she will not be able to sleep so she decided to go out

and get a cup of coffee. She checked the living room and heard a muffled sound inside Jaejoong’s

room. She closed her eyes and pat her heart. “keep calm. We need to work” she went go the

kitchen and took out the instant coffee inside the cabinet. She cannot make brewed coffee now

even if she wants to. As she was stirring her coffee and humming the melody of her new song

someone tried to get her attention. “that melody is great.” Mari turned and got surprise to see

Jaejoong standing there with just his robe and boxer shorts. He left his robe open. “you scared

me.” she uttered and turn around. She knows how red she might be right now. “is that my song?”

he asked. “uhm yeah. Doing it right now actually” she tried to sound normal but her heart is

actually beating so fast now. “okay. You’re not going to sleep? Can you look at me while I’m talking

to you” Mari bit her lips, exhaled and turned. She was relieved when she saw Jaejoong tied his

robe already. “are you really relieved?” someone inside her asked. Inner Mari is kind of

disappointed to be honest. Jaejoong is perfect. His abs and… yeah he is perfect. “I slept earlier. I

didn't noticed it actually but yeah I will finish the song and the demo to be ready by the morning.

Uhm do you need anything? Coffee? Water?” she asked. “water but I’ll get it.” “uhm okay sure. I

better get back to work. Goodnight Jaejoong ssi” Mari walk passed Jaejoong without any eye

contact. “Mari” Jaejoong uttered. She stopped and glance at him. “nothing. Don’t stay up too long.

Goodnight” he said and opened the fridge. Mari smiled faintly. It has been a long time since

Jaejoong talks to her like that. It is a bit normal than his angry conversations. Mari glance at

Jaejoong again she was surprise to see him looking at her too. She smiled and entered the room

without looking again. She placed her hand over her heart. “hey stop. You always get swayed with

his little antics. When will you learn?” A genuine smile appeared on her face. That short encounter

is beautiful.
