[Evelyn's POV]

Vancouver, BC

The living room is quiet, atmosphere tense. I sat in front of my parents head down. Mother puts down her cup and looks at me.

"You cannot keep wasting your time on these... these... timewasters! You have highschool AND university to finish! Don't forget that WE are the ones PAYING for your education!" she said for what seemed like the hundredth time. My father who was sitting beside her nodded his head.

"You must focus. Or I'll be forced to limit your free time and websites you can visit." he added, "Even if you were to pursue the entertainment industry, what will you do if it fails completely? What will be your back-up plan? You should educate yourself to the fullest before you pursue your dreams... if your dreams stay the same after university."

Why did they have to do this to me? A tear dropped onto my lap. I quickly erased the evidence but more kept emerging.

"This is for your own good. Now go to your room and do your homework." sighed my mother.

I got up swiftly and ran out of the room. How am I going to tell Lucica? Disappointment after disappointment. My parents make everything less fun.

2 years later... (18 years old)

*Beep beep* goes my alarm. I groan and got outta bed. I sigh, today's the last day of highschool. I should be happy but I'm not. I'm not an idol singing on the same stage as Taemin. AHH!!! Evelyn! You gotta stop thinking of this! Remember your promise! No kpop until you're outta university! That's right, I got accepted into UBC Music Program.

At school...

Lucica ran up to me followed by Jayden. "EVELYNN!!! GUESS WHAT??! I WAS CHOSEN TO BE A MODEL FOR LIOELE!!!!!! JAYDEN GOT IN JYP ENTERTAINMENT!! I'm sorry that I can't go to university with you D; I'll wait for you in Korea! Hwaiting!" she gushed.

"Omigosh!! really?! CONGRATS~! Yess, hwaiting!! Congrats Lucica! I'm so happy for you! Jayden! JYP man!! Trainee?" I squealed. It's so great that they are realising their dreams!

Jayden, blushing slightly and looked shyly away, replied, "Yeah... JYP's okay, I guess."

I was so jealous... but its okay, I'll be back. I will find my way into the entertainment world.

Four years later

Lucica sent me so many magazines of her in it. She's so pretty as usual. Because she is the model for Lioele, she sent me a bunch of products. I'm totally prepared for entering the entertainment world.

Today is the day I graduate with a Bachelor degree in Music and Computer Science. I've sent countless tapes of me singing to many big Taiwanese companies. I've changed my mind about going to Korean companies right off the bat. Taking baby steps are safer this way.

After the graduationg ceremony, I received a phone call from Warner Music Taiwan.

Evelyn: Hello?
