Gentle hands framed Tiffany's face before she felt fingers softly running through her short hair. Looking up at the woman whose face is merely inches away from hers, she couldn't help but smile.

Oh, how she missed this ~ how she missed her.

"What are you doing?" Tiffany quietly asked, her voice croaky since it's still quite early for her and she hasn't had ample rest for the past couple of days.

A soft hum vibrated through the walls of the silent room, it was just them this time since they had left Sooyoung's place early in the morning.

"Pretty hair." Taeyeon's fingers continued their ministrations on Tiffany's head. "My pretty girl."

Closing her eyes at the soothing sensation Taeyeon's fingers are giving her, Tiffany couldn't help but softly snort at the compliments oh so casually thrown at her.

"Flirt."

She opened her eyes only to be met by an intense yet surprisingly also soft gaze from her lover's expressive eyes.

Taeyeon's fingers ran through Tiffany's hair once more, keeping it out of her face, while not taking her eyes off of her lover's. Her hands ended up cupping Tiffany's jawline with her thumbs caressing soft cheeks.

"Only to you."

Taeyeon playfully squished Tiffany's face with her hands and cooed. I've missed this face. "My Yeppeunieee. So pretty with short hair. Just like the old days!"

The thought of their younger days made both women chuckle. It was simpler days, happier perhaps. Definitely more public skinship too. With less drama and slightly more freedom given their innocence.

Reminded of their old doings and imbued with affection and love, Taeyeon leaned in and gently grazed her lips against her lover's soft ones, making Tiffany close her eyes once again. "May I?" Taeyeon whispers as she takes in the beauty of her lover up close.

She couldn't not do it. The moment was just too perfect. Reminiscing their old days only reminded her that even though today can be different, she's very much grateful they're still here. Together. Like they always have been.

A small nod was all it took for Taeyeon to close the gap, their lips perfectly fitting in between each other. Not too long after, Taeyeon pulled back and looked down at Tiffany whose eyes were slowly opening. The eyesmile soon appeared from Tiffany's face followed by a dimpled grin from Taeyeon's.

It was one simple, soft, and gentle kiss but it left them both on cloud nine. It's been too long.

"I've missed you." Taeyeon admits as she, once again, took in the soft features of the beauty in front of her.

The eyesmile never left Tiffany's face as she wrapped her arms around Taeyeon's waist. "I know. I've missed you too."

"Nah, I missed you more." Taeyeon jokingly competed to lighten up what seemed to be a slowly sombering mood. It worked though as she was punished by a soft pinch on her side.

"Dork."

"Your dork."

She gently tugged her dork closer and leaned in to graze her own lips against Taeyeon's. "Yes, my dork." Then she closed the gap once more.

God, it feels so good to be back home. My home.

So I saw this gif from fanysideprofile and saw Fany's hair swaying and thought of Tae running her fingers through that hair and thought of the first time they reuited with her short hair (at least the only reunion that we know of ;) ) and well...voila? Haha. I wrote this on my phone and currently posting this through my phone so I don't know how this will look like but I will fix it (and probably add the gif - I have yet to figure out how to do that) when I can.
