Description

Hello, it's 2AM and I just felt like this idea needs to be written.

Thank you Seulgi and Irene for letting this story come to life.

Foreword

“Are you really sure about this?” asked the young woman dressed sharply in front of her.

“I am. Let’s proceed with it.”

The young woman, whom she assumed to be Yeri, judging by the obviously well taken care of nameplate attached on her suit’s pocket, heaved a deep sigh before continuing, “If you are, then please do cast your signature over your printed name on the space provided below, Ms. Kang.”

She followed the instructions written on the document thoroughly, with her eyes scanning the terms and conditions etched on the paper cautiously, for what seemed to be three times in a row already. Although she still thinks that this Yeri is way too young to handle matters like these, she found herself gripping the cheap fountain pen and ultimately engraving her signature on the line, sealing the deal successfully.

Yeri took her signed document and handed her a little envelope right after. She took the envelope warily, not sure what to make of it.

“Details regarding your meetup can be found there, which is by the way, tomorrow,” she used her lips to gesture at the envelope before continuing, “We made sure that your interests and requests are sought out properly, while meeting the demands of the other.”

A soft “I see.” was all Seulgi can muster.

Do I really want this?

No, I need this.

Lost in her thoughts, she barely noticed the young woman trudging her way out of the office. “I hope you’ll have a great time together, for whatever reason that may be.” Yeri offered her a small smile, before finally walking out of the door.

Tomorrow, Seulgi is bound to meet the receiving end of her decision.

I just hope that you want it the same way that I do.

Twenty-five years of pursuit for something she believed wasn’t meant for her. But, just in case the person she’ll meet tomorrow will be responsible for putting an end to the never-ending cycle, only one thought breaks free from her restless mind.

I hope I’ll make your world less hurting.

But the anxiety intensifies as she inches closer to the written meetup time.

Am I the person you’re waiting for?

Screw that.

She has a hundred days to prove that anyway.
