Junmyeon’s POV

I widen my eyes as soon as I saw Joohyun. She hasn’t changed at all since graduated from high school until now. She still looks beautiful just like good old days.

‘’Son! Meet the new manager, Bae Joohyun’’ My dad broke the silence by introducing her to me. ‘’And this is my son and also director of the company, Kim Junmyeon’’ he introduced me to her

‘’Annyeonghaseyo director Kim’’ Joohyun politely bowed to me. ‘’I’m looking forward to work with you’’ she saids as she gives a hand

‘’Oh hi, Joohyun-ssi!’’ I surprised and grab her hand, shaking.

‘’Are you two knowing each other? I saw you two staring at each other for long’’ My dad asked. DOOM! What should I answer?

‘’Yes! I know her’’

‘’No we aren’t’’

I surprised with our both answers. I say yes and Joohyun say no. My dad frowns at me

‘’I said I know her because we came from same high school’’ I fastly explains my dad. ‘’I used to work with her as MC during school event’’ I said. Finally, I become a liar in front of my dad.

‘’And Ms. Bae. You said you don’t know my son’’ My dad asked Joohyun

‘’Ah! I said I don’t know him because we only work together once and then, we never talk to each other again’’ Joohyun answered and smile to my dad. Daebak! She still good at acting like nothing has happened.

‘’I see then’’ My dad nodded. ‘’From now on, he’s going to become your boss and you two may see each other everyday and maybe…. Work together as a team’’ he saids

‘’Ne’’ Joohyun nodded

‘’Son! Would you mind showing her around? My assistant is busy and I’m going to meet the guests soon’’ My dad looks at me

‘’Do you want some drink?’’ I finally ask Joohyun after showing her around the company. Now we are at coffee shop ground floor

‘’Emm… I’ll have cappuccino then’’ She said

‘’One cappuccino and One iced latte’’ I ordered. Joohyun about to take out her money and give to me. ‘’All on me today’’ I said and she put her money back

‘’I’ll go and find somewhere else to wait then’’ Joohyun said and leave. After waiting for drinks, I hold two of them as I saw Joohyun sitting next to the window, staring at the outside.

‘’Your coffee’’ I give iced cappuccino to her and sat face to her

‘’Thanks’’ Joohyun smile a little as she take her coffee and sipped. We both stay a long silent so I decided to start a conversation

‘’How…… have you been?’’ I asked her

‘’I’m… doing good’’ Joohyun answered. ‘’How about you?’’ she asked

‘’Same. Doing good’’ I replied and she nodded as understanding. ‘’You didn’t look change at all’’ I exclaims

‘’Oh really?’’ Joohyun asked me in disbelief tones. ‘’Everyone says like that’’ she saids and sipped her coffee. Here we are! Dead silent again. Why suddenly I hate it? I don’t know.

‘’About what you said in the office that moment….’’ I said

‘’I’m surprised when you told your dad you worked with me as MC’’ Joohyun suddenly laughs. ‘’How come you said like that when you are not the type of person who enjoy talking with everyone’’ she saids

‘’I couldn’t find a good excuse one’’ I embarrassingly laughs. ‘’Anyway, are you already seeing someone?’’ I asked

‘’I’m busying with self-improvement and I’m also enjoying myself now’’ She form a smile. ‘’How about you? Are you seeing another person or getting back together with your ex girlfriend?’’ she asked

‘’I’m still single’’ I laughs, trying to act cool in front of her

‘’I see’’ Joohyun smiles and nodded. ‘’If there’s nothing more, I want to go back to the office and see anything I could check’’ she stood up and leave
