M : hey. Are you asleep?

S : no :)) video call??

"Why are you so pale?? Did you even eat?" Mino asked, eyebrows knitted.

" I did, I swear.. it's just been colder these days.."

Mino sighs, his gaze went soft and Seungyoon really hates the feeling of staring to a screen right now.

 

"Wear more jackets. And drink some tea, not coffee." Mino said.

 

"I know," Seungyoon said, snuggling to his blanket.

 

"Is Jihoon doing well?"

 

Suppressed smile immediately showers Mino's face.

 

"He's an idiot, oh my god.. can you believe he forgot Trump's name? Everyone was laughing at him" Mino told him all sort of antic Jihoon did, from the way he talks, his awkward look and stupid face.

 

Seungyoon laughs and it made Mino giggles too.

 

"Help him out, he must be confused," Seungyoon said.

 

Mino hums.

 

"How was work?" Mino asked.

 

Seungyoon shrugs, "Not bad. Not great either."

 

"Don't hurry yourself." Mino said.

 

If Mino is at home with him right now, Seungyoon must be a lot warmer. Because he'll be engulfed in his cozy sweater, holding Seungyoon so close until he can sniff his distinct smell. Seungyoon would nag sometimes, saying it's stuffy when it's really not. It's the most comfortable he can get.

 

"I really miss you. Not like 'i kinda wanna see you' thing, it's.." Seungyoon stops his rambling, eyes locked to Mino through the screen.

 

"I really want you here right now."

 

 

Mino smiles, albeit forced.

 

 

"I'll be there in a bit. Do fun things, I'll be there before you know it."

 

"It's fun with you." Seungyoon said.

 

"Yeah, but Seunghoon hyung is fun too. Go out with him. Go out with anyone, don't stay at home all the time... you'll feel lonely.."

 

Seungyoon just stares at Mino, no words said.

 

"Okay?" Mino said.

 

Seungyoon hums.

 

"Mino-ya!!" Hodong's voice called from outside the bathroom where Mino hides to give Seungyoon some space in his day.

 

"Yes, hyung!" Mino answered.

 

Seungyoon's expression drops. Mino can't do much and it's killing him. Ten days. It could feel like a month if you spend it bad.

 

"I'm sorry.." Mino whispers.

 

"It's alright." Seungyoon said.

 

"I know it's not.. I gotta go, alright? I'll call you again tomorrow. Bye."

 

"Bye, have fun.." Seungyoon said with a smile.

 

"I love you," Mino said.

 

Mino has said that at least a hundred times. But it never fails to make Seungyoon feel the jolt. Every single time.

 

"Love you too."

 

 

Seungyoon spends his day doing work, texting, sending pictures of random things, play around with his friends. It's not better, but at least he doesn't spend it thinking about how Mino is not there. It gets the hardest when Mino doesn't answer for the whole day, or when he answers when Seungyoon is already asleep. They had a small fight about that, after Seungyoon forfeits sleeping at all to wait for Mino and Mino had a morning mission that kept him occupied the whole night. It's stupid. It's like a fight middle schoolers have and Seungyoon is embarrassed when he remembers that. But it's over as soon as it starts and after a while, Mino's time to come home finally came.

 

And Seungyoon decided that waking up to his voice in the middle of the night, calling his name softly and planting the softest of kiss in his lips, is the best end to any kind of waiting.

 

 

 

"Where is my Rolex?" Seungyoon asked with a sleepy voice.

 

"I'm gonna hit you," Mino said.

 

Seungyoon laughs and Mino follows soon after like he always does.
