Mark has a hectic schedule. Being in 3 groups is not an easy thing. He had to run to catch up with his schedule as a member of nct 2018, nct dream, nct 127 and nct u. Being a kind boy he is, he had never complain to his hyungs or dongsaeng about his tiredness. Same goes when he is sick.

Luckily after a few weeks of releasing black on black album, the nct members were given a week off. On the night before their resting days, they have dance practice for black on black song. While they were on their way to the practice room, Mark has started to feel bad. His head was throbbing so badly and his eyes feel hot. He slept for the whole journey.

When they arrived, Jaemin shaked Mark's body slightly to wake him up. "Hyung, wake up we have arrived...", Mark opened his eyes slowly and undoing his seatbelt. When he tried to get up from his seat, his body felt so heavy that he dropped to his seat  harshly. " Are you okay, Mark-hyung", Haechan asked when he realised that something was odd about his Hyung. 

" I'm okay, just a bit sleepy," Mark said with a reasurring smile.

Jaemin and Haechan still felt that somehing was wrong but they does not want to push Mark so, on their way to the practice room they had kept their eyes on Mark like a hawk.

A few members other than jaemin and haechan like johnny, taeyong, jaehyun, chenle, winwin and yuta realised that Mark was not acting like himself and the reason was, his face looked like is going to fall anytime. Thay have asked Mark about his condition but Mark's answer was,

" I'm okay, i'm just sleepy don't worry...." 

Mark forced himself to dance until he dropped to the floor with a loud  THUD during his jump. 

"OH GOD MARK."

Everyone was shocked. Johnny, Taeyong, Jaemin and Jaehyung ran to where Mark was.

" Mark, Mark! Wake up"

Mark was breathing heavily and he was sweating all over his body.

Johnny raise Mark's head and placed his palm on Mark's forehead to feel his temperature.

"!" Was the first thing that came out from his mouth.

"Why, what's wrong?" Ten said on behalf of the others with a worried face.

"We have to bring him back. His body is burning like crazy."

Taeyong took out his phone and called their manager, explaining everything that had happened. Without wasting any seconds Johnny carry Mark in a bridal style and brought him to the car along with a few of nct members. The practice ended early since everyone would not be able to concentrate. 

Upon arriving at the dorm, Johnny placed Mark on his bed. Jaehyung went to the kitchen to get a wet  towel for Mark. Ten went to search for a thermometer. Chenle was helping Taeyong preparing some food for Mark. The others sitting in the living room with a worried expression. No one dares to speak.

"Mark wake up, you have to eat something," Taeyong said with a bowl of porridge in his arm.

Mark raised his body slowly and eat the porridge. Taeyong was feeding him. After the 3rd spoon, "hyung i cannot anymore," he said wealky whilst pushing taeyong's hand. He felt bad because he knew that Taeyong cooked the porridge specially for him but, he can't taste anything. "It's okay, but before you went back to sleep you have to take the flu medicine." Chenle fed the medicine into Mark's mouth and Johnny helped him to drink some water. Then, Jaehyung placed the damp towel on his forehead. Since Ten wanted to take his temperatute, Mark was still unable to sleep which made him sighed.

"Bear it for a moment we have to know your temperarure," Johnny said

" hmmmm...."

When the thermoter produced the beep sound, they checked it and they had a worried expression on their face. It was 39.6 c.

They looked at Mark,

Jaehyung: "you should've told us that you're not feeling well,"

Mark:" I'm sorry hyung,"

Taeyong:" you should sleep, if you need anything call any one of us. Don't try to do anythinh on your own. You get that."

Mark:" okay," he said weakly.

Without realising, Mark has closed his eyes and went to a deep sleep. They went out from the room quitely not wanting to wake the sick member up. They told the other members about Mark's condition and told them to not worry too much and get some rest.

2 a.m.

Mark woke up because he was unable to breath. He felt like there was a big stone dropped right on top of his lungs. He coughed harshly trying to get some oxygen into his lungs. Lucas and Jisung immediately woke up and went to Mark's room upon hearing the terrible cough coming out from his room. 

Mark was holding his throat showing that he was having trouble with breathing. Lucas helped him  to sit while pat his back meanwhile Jisung went to take some drink. After Mark has settled down they went back to sleep.

The next morning, when almost all of the members have woke up Lucas told them about what happened to Mark last morning.

Taeyong:"I'll go check his temperature,"

He said worriedly. He went to Mark's room together with Renjun, there they saw Mark was curled up like a ball. He was shivering. Renjun put his palm on Mark's forehead,

Renjun:" Hyung, it still hot"

He said to taeyong with sad expression.

Taeyong:" Mark, can you wake up for a while we want to check your temperature and you have to eat something."

Mark woke up slowly, and allow taeyong to take his temperature. This time it was 38.9 c it has dropped but still high. After that, Renjun brought a bowl of soup for him. After the fourth spoon,

Mark:" I feel like throwing up,"

Mark said with a number of cough escaping from his mouth. Taeyong helped him to stand up properly and brought him to the toilet, follow with Renjun. 

Mark threw up badly, the soup he ate just know and the porridge he had yesterday came out from his stomach. Taeyong was unable to do anything except of rubbing Mark's back to soothe him. He told Renjun to tell the otherd about Mark's condition and asked Taeil to call their manager and tell him about it.

In the living room,

The other member can hear the sound of Mark throwing up. Before they managed to get into the room, Renjun came out from the room and told them what Taeyong told him to tell them. Immediately, Lucas, Johnny, Jaehyun and Winwin went into the room to check on Mark. While Taeil was making a phone call with their manager.

In the room, 

Mark was throwing up badly while taeying was on his side.

The members that went to check on Mark watch the situation painfully. After Mark has dlne throwing up, Taeyong helped him to the bed.

Mark:" Hyung I'm so sorry for troubling you guys,"

Winwin:" You are no troubling us at all, don't worry."

Lucas:" That's right, there is nothing to be sorry for."

Mark went to sleep with a drop of tear coming out from his eye. He was so glad to have such a nice members on his side.

Taeil came into the room and tell them that their manager asked then to watch on Mark for another one night, if his condition get worse then, immediately call him and he will bring Mark to the hospital. 

They kept on coming into the room for every minutes to check on Mark and change his towel. Gladly Mark did not throw up anymore, well sometime he had trouble with braething but it is still manageable.

The next morning, Jeno and Doyoung went to the kitchen along with Taeyong to prepare bteakfast for their members. They were schoked when they saw Mark in the kitchen.

Doyoung:" Mark why are you here??":

Mark:" I want to drink some water..."

Jeno:"Hyung you still not well you should have call one of us to help you."

Mark:" It's okay, i don't feel that bad anymore and i've trouble you guys yesterday."

Taeyong put his palm on Mark's forehead and,

Taeyong:" What do you mean by you don't feel bad, your temperature is still high. By the way we already told you that you are not troubling us at all so you don't have to feel bad."

Doyoung:" Tell us the truth, how do you feel right now?"

Mark was flustered at first but, he realised that he had no choice than telling them the truth.

Mark:" Well, honestly, i still have a headache and my muscles still sore.. but, i'm okay so let me be here it's too boring to be on bed."

Jeno, Doyoung and Taeyong looked at each other and sighed.

Taeyong:" okay, we get it but you habe to promise to immediately tell any one of us when you feel bad and immediately went to bed and rest okay?"

Mark:" roger that..." he said with a thumb up.

Well, Mark wanted to help them to prepare for breakfast, but they did not allow it. They told him to sit at the sofa and rest. It is better that being in the room.

Each time the members went out from their room, they asked Mark 'why are you here?' 'Are you okay now?' when they saw him sitting on the sofa with a blanket wrapped around him, and his answer was, 'i'm okay, it's boring to be on bed all day,' a few them told him to stay on bed and rest properly but ended up giving up because Mark dors not want it.

When breakfast is ready, they had it together. Johnny was siiting on the right side of Mark while Jaehyun was sitting on the left side. They watched every movement done by Mark. More precisely everyone watched Mark movement. 

When they had confirmed that it was okay for Mark to be off bed, they decided to watch a movie together. Fortunately, Mark went to sleep on the second-half of the movie. His head landed on Jaehyun's shoulder. The members were smilling while looking at Mark's sleeping face. They were glad to see that Mark was able to sleep peacefully again. Jaehyun place Mark's head on the sofa's hand to make it comfortable. Kun took the remote control to slow down the voice when he saw Mark flinched in his sleep.

Mark woke up approximately 30 minutes after the movie ended. When he woke up, he was greeted by s. They were having some sweets. They offered some to Mark but, he declined it because he felt nausea looking at it. Full with cream.

He just sat there with a cup of water in his hand while having a few conversation with his fellow members.

Suddenly,

Haechan:" Hyung, next time you need to tell us if you don't feel well."

Jisung:" that's right, you shouldn't keep it on your own."

Ten:" Mark, we will always by your side so tell us, okay?"

Mark was so happy when he heard that, his heart felt warm, it felt like he is needed.

Mark:" i get it, thank you."

He said with a smile on his face.
