Description

For little Eunji's fourth birthday, single dad Hyukjae throws her a birthday celebration with the help of his best friend, Siwon, who helps plan the party. Much like Eunji, Hyukjae too, receives a present by the end of the party. A rather large one, in fact.

Foreword

This fic was inspired by a picture I found of Donghae in a suit and top hat with a flower in his hand. The moment I saw it, it gave me magician vibes and I just had to write a fluffy fic. Nothing gets you like a story about a single dad and his daughter, and how he ends up finding love. I also wrote this with a bit of inspiration drawn from Super Junior's Happiness, Magic and No Other, because I find the lightheartedness of the songs very appropriate. It's very rare of me to write something so light, heh. I hope you enjoy this heartwarming fic!

Chapter 1: This is one of the sweetest stories ever. With a lot of love and hidden emotions was it very nice to read. Seems like Hyuk‘s getting much more than this tiny ring on this day. Chapter 1: before i read i need to drop this comment, u have an amazing way with words but please try to avoid long paragraphs with a lot of descriptions of the surroundings, it really kills the mood for continuing the read , but u are amazing dear keep it and i will read as much as i can of ur fics

Chapter 1: This is such a sweet story of meeting in the midst of a birthday party. The magician admitting that he offered to perform for that party. Well, Siwon isn't saying anything but he's the one making the moves. It is just up for the magician to work his magic on the man he wanted to meet and to capture the heart of the little girl on the way. So nice. Thank you so much.

Chapter 1: This was so wonderful to read!

Little Eunji’s birthday party seems to be lots of fun, especially with Donghae as the magician. Siwon did the right thing by inviting Donghae over to perform at Eunji’s birthday party and at the same time, had a hidden motive of wanting Hyukjae to be interested in Donghae (or the other way round haha). Eunji played a supporting role in bridging the relationship between Eunhae, which was really adorable and sweet. For example, by letting Donghae read her her favourite storybook really shows a lot as well. It worked out well, honestly. Both of them were so shy around each other and even that gentle brush of fingers made them red in the face hahaha!
