The people kept buzzing while waiting for the princess.Some are excited, Some aren't. As usual, The princess was late for her birthday parade. People are already expecting for it.

“The Parade is about to start!” The chief yelled. The sound of the drumrolls made the people silent and the carriage started moving.

“The 18th birthday parade of the Princess.” The lively sound from the band ovelayed the whole Thalanasia.

Her bright yellow dress matches her skin color, her hair is well fixed but she has to cover her nose and mouth with a white plain handkerchief to hide her identity.

It is a rule in Thalanasia, that every princess has to hide her identity until she turn 21. So nobody has ever seen her face except for the King and  Queen.

They say, It is for the safety.

The parade lasted for almost 20 minutes then the princess has to go back to the castle. Of course, there’s a dinner for all the people in Thalanasia and a grand dance ball.

As the guards open the large double doors for her, The King and ueen welcomed her with a hug.

“Happy birthday, Princess.”

“I’m so excited for your 21st birthday.” The King said.

“You’ll have to wait for 3 more years, father.” The princess laughed and sat on her white, high backed throne chair with a touch of gold that made it look more expensive.

“It will be worth the wait.”

“Open the gate. The celebration will now start.” The Queen stated.

The orchestra started singing in the corner while the people indulge themselves to the foods served on the long table. All are invited, but of course, there are specific places for The Royals, Avars and the workers.

The princess enjoyed her birthday staring at people eating, laughing and chatting inside this large hall. She cannot go beyond her throne chair, she cannot even greet the royal people from other places.

After eating, the princess has to dance the Thalanasian dance. It is a part of everyone’s birthday to dance that.

The people gazed at her as she got up of her throne chair and walk in the center of the hall, her yellow dress cathes everyone’s attention.

The music started to play and she began to dance. No doubt she is a princess, the way she dance, she stare, or by the way she move her hands is very graceful. Everyone was amazed at her, though half of her face was covered, they can say she is pretty.

“I wonder what she looks like...” A girl holding a plate of cake asked herself while staring at the princess.
