Foreword

Hello all! Inspiration for this came while I was listening to a rain remix of Taylor Swift’s “Last Kiss”—though she may not be the greatest vocalist, Taylor is definitely one of the best when it comes to songwriting. The product: this story, inspired by those lyrics. This will be a short series of drabbles and will probably last around 10-12 chapters.

Originally, I had planned for this to be a Taemin/OC story, but the lyrics suited Jonghyun’s personality better, so I switched and wrote him. After that, I found some stories about Jonghyun being in a relationship prior to his debut in SHINee, and his subsequent separation with the girlfriend because of his debut as an idol. The girl’s name is supposedly Moon Hyejin, and I have set this fictional story from mostly her point of view. Let me just say that through writing this, I've somewhat fallen in love with Jonghyun. :3 ♥
