it was a casual late morning on the sundays....jinyoung and jisoo was just doing the usual hanging out laying around in jinyoung's room the two childhood friends just doing their own buisness casually both reading their favoutite books until jisoo stole a glance at jinyoung

"i wonder if a kiss will be able to change out status quo in this relationship" jisoo thought quietly until jinyoung caught her staring and turn to her direction as jisoo put her eyes back on her book at the speed of light but then suddenly 

"jisoo" jinyoung called as he approached closer to her causing jisoo to panic

"omg did i say that out loud?!!!" jinyoung was getting closer and closer and closer meanwhile jisoo's face was getting redder and redder and redder only god knows how hard is jisoo's heart beating right at this moment as there was only 30 cm left between jinyoung's face and her's but just then JUST THEN!!!

"there's something stuck on your hair" jinyoung said brushing off the paper like object struck on jisoo's hair with the most expressionless face ever killing all expectations jisoo had...................................... as jinyoung then turns back to his original pose place and length as he turn the next page of his own book that he was reading jisoo was once again left staring jinyoung's back

"i wonder when i first began having this unwanted awareness " thought jisoo to herself once again as she lets out a slight sigh

*it was already night and jinyoung was walking back jisoo to her house as usual walking by the sidewalks which are just right beside the ocean

"hey  jinyoung" jisoo called walking just two steps behind from jinyoung

"i said im fine walking back home alone"

"you got it all wrong im just heading to the convinence store" replied jinyoung cooly walking straight ahead with his hands in his pockets

"as always he wears that nonchalant expression of his.... he's putting up excuses yet again today just to walk me home it has become a habbit of his and as always we dont talk much" thought jisoo shifting her eyes from jinyoung to her legs as both jisoo and jinyoung walked each step of the way silently leaving only the sounds of the ocean waves companying them....but just then jisoo suddenly had a flash back when they were little kids when they went to the shrine.... jinyoung was silently waiting for the late jisoo outside the shrine gate

*flashback

"sorry!!!" lil jisoo screamed running to finally arrived 

"so slow" jinyoung simply replied

"here" jisoo handed an amulet to jinyoung

"its for your mom" she explained as jinyoung was speechless for a few seconds before he finally said his "thank you" just blankly staring at the breathless jisoo

jinyoung and jisoo are both from a happy family sadly for jinyoung her mother was ill and little jisoo thought that the good luck charm that she bought with all her pocket money would make jinyoung's mother all well again.......however not long after that jinyoung's mother passed away...and jisoo then remembered when they were at the funeral the young jisoo was drowning with tears in the arms of her own parents but there were neither tears nor sorrow found on jinyoung's face....

*end of flashbacks

"i was sure he would cry that day " thought jisoo who suddenly stopped walking and just deeply stare to the man who was walking ahead of her but then

"so slow!" yelled jinyoung as soon as he realized jisoo was so further away from him as jisoo said nothing and just ran towards jinyoung.

"i  hate that we're just friends" thought jisoo once again

meanwhile on the other side of the side walk

"hey doyoung look its jinyoung and jisoo" doyoung who was just cassually drinking his soda walking home with one of his friend turns to look

"they sure do look close" said doyoung's friend 

"yup they sure does" doyoung replied

"oh well lets get going" doyoung's friend said walking ahead of him

"yeah..." doyoung replied again giving jinyoung and jisoo a weird last look before he finally catcthes up to his friend

*a few days passed jinyoung called jisoo last night to bring the latest magazines edition to his apartment jisoo agress without argument

the next day

jisoo was now at jinyoung's apartment she already pressed the doorbell but no one was answering it.

"huh is he not around?" wondered jisoo raising one of her brows

"i even brought the latest issues .........oh well ill just head home then" jisoo quietly thought as she just about to go with the new edition magazines she brought it her hands but just then sounds of a door being open could be heard .....jisoo then turn to see only to find a topless jinyoung at the door with a towel over his head 

"oh hey i just came back from school activities.... i was just taking a shower" said the half jinyoung while just casually drying his hair off 

"um.... so i g...guess ill see ya later..." said the flustered red faced jisoo trying to bail as quickly as possible 

"why does it have to be this guy hearttt??!!!!" jisoo aggresively questioned her heart in her mind

"eh? you dont want to come in?" jinyoung confusedly asked................

minutes later 

in jinyoung's room the sound of video games could be heard .....

jisoo was playing games on jinyoung's laptop meanwhile jinyoung was busy reading the books jisoo brought on his bed...fully dressed the awkwardness that jisoo was feeling was obviously shown on her face 

"what did i even thought was gonna happen" jisoo dissed herself in her head ..making the smallest movement hitting her own head in silence just then...

"oh thats right..." jinyoung suddenly voiced and turn to jisoo

"you're gonna watch our team against sm high school right?"

"ah yup..." jisoo replied nodding her head 

"are you nervous jinyoung ah? i wonder if the game would get all rough and people would go player kill all rough mode again in this time around.." asked jisoo rapidly as just then she suddenly earned herself a pinch! jinyoung pinched jisoo on the cheeks! right at that moment jisoo's heart was beating so fast any second longer her heart would've actualy burst out but thankfully jinyoung's phone suddenly rang . jinyoung then went to answer his phone . leaving the red jisoo saved who immediately made her self stand up from her sitting position to cool off her face.... 

"hello?" jinyoung spoke

"OI..jinyoung, where are you at now?" spoke one of jinyoung's friend through the phone loudly 

"didn't they say they're gonna go bowling after practice?" jinyoung took a sit on his bed "oh is that so?" he replied

"are you busy? what are you doing? could it be you've got a date with your girlfriend puhahaha?" laughed jinyoung's friend through the phone hysterically 

"she's not my girlfriend" said jinyoung

"ha?" as his friend stopped laughing

jisoo wish she didn't heard it but she clearly did even coming straight from jinyoung's mouth ..... jinyoung was definitely absolutely not in the wrong saying what he just said it is true after all since when was she the girlfriend?.......jinyoung had every right .....but somehow ....just somehow jisoo feels so sad...she herself can't even explain or know whats going on but the only thing she knows that she's sad..and close to heartbroken...

"so jinyoung had plans going out" thought jisoo as she then suddenly unconsciously started walking her way towards the exit....she was just going to walk away from jinyoung without saying a single word... but just then! jisoo stopped moving as she found her hands was suddenly grabbed by jinyoung who was still on the phone.... jisoo then turn around confusedly to face jinyoung only to found her eyes meeting his.....

"what should i do......... what can i do...... so that we can become more than just friends" jisoo ask herself...slowly approaching jinyoung who was holding on to her hands as her heart beats in rhymes getting stronger with each of her step 

"hello jinyoung sunbae? are you still there? this is yugyeom everyone's waiting for you" spoke one of jinyoung's associates
