The Search
Description
Yi Xing and Xiao Jiao disappeared on the day one of their friends held a party on an island. Their grandmother had a haunting dream of the twins begging for her to find their bodies before they disappear forever. A year later, their cousin Ming En arranges for a search team consisting of their friends to help find a sign of the twins’ survival.
Before the twins disappeared, it seems they heard some deep, dark secrets from some of their friends. Some of the friends only joined the search to make sure the secrets the twins heard stay a secret. But it seems the moment the search party steps on the island, they feel a foreboding that they won’t leave the island alive.

The oldest amongst the girls who often takes care of everyone like a mother.
Foreword
When I first thought of writing this, I never planned to make it into a horror and thriller story. I thought of making into a horror story after rewatching some horror game walkthroughs. The very first scene of this oneshot is inspired by the beginning of the horror game "Until Dawn", the scene with the twins. Actually, the whole story is inspired by that game but also I might kind of include hints of horror movies I watch. So if you watch any horror movies you might figure out which scenes are inspired by that movie.
Also, I forgot to mention that the story will kind of have some time skip parts which might get confusing so every time a character's point of view starts, there's kind of a time jump.
