The Story of Eurydice

Description

It's been one year since that ill fated trip to New Orleans—one year since Bobby held a dying Hanbin in his arms. He's going back at the advice of his therapist, and he's bringing the rest of iKON with him. But weird things start happening after he visits the tomb of voodoo priestess Marie Laveau, and he wonders if his love is truly strong enough to bring someone back from the dead.

Notes: This was inspired by my love of New Orleans, my own travels to the city, and my desire to write a story set there. This is set in canon (with the exception of the death) and has some supernatural elements to it. Also includes my very first scene of a tarot card reading, that I did a bunch of research for and am quite proud of. ;)

Draws upon the Greek myth of Eurydice and Orpheus, of leading someone back from the afterlife. ♥

Chapter 1: My goodness. I was totally drawn in by the title, but worried because though I love that story I was worried Bobby would suffer the same fate, and the idea of a world without Hanbin broke my heart...so I wasn't sure about chancing my heart and reading this- I'm so happy I did. I do t know how well versed you are in everything you wrote, or if everything fell into place to accommodate how how wanted the story to go, but this was so beautiful. I fell a little more in love with everything after this- Hanbin, iKon, love, people, happiness, I thank you for that

Chapter 1: i cried in relief, i came here expecting a tragic ending where people will still be broken and death cannot be cheated but hell, bobby's heartbreak had suffocated me and i was hopeless, like, ok what tragedy now, how will you break him more than he already is, but then nooo. I am so glad that this turned out like the way it is. It feels lighter again!!! Damn that was a scary hell ride.

Chapter 1: Wow this was incredible. Bobby's grief was suffocating and you described it so well that I felt it, as if I was suffocating. And I definitely didn't expect what happened after all of that. Good job as usual :)
