In the moment of getting out of the car and opening her arms wide as she welcomed the scent of the salt water and the tiny pieces of sand hitting her face; she took in a deep breath and let it out with a huge smile plastered on her face.

Jeongyeon couldn't feel more Zen.

It had been a while since she felt that way and more importantly she could share it with someone.

She turned around putting her arms down and giggled as Bobby was leaning on the hood of the car on the driver's side smirking at her.

"Let's get checked in at the hotel and we can hit the water." He spoke making her nod head quickly and hopped back into the car.

Going to the hotel wasn't far when they had pulled over to the side. Jeongyeon had finished face timing with her sweet six-year old nephew Daesyn as he stayed behind with the crazy set of friends Jeongyeon and Bobby had.

The soft and kind Jinhwan.

The whacky Yunhyeong.

The sassy Junhoe.

The smart genius Donghyuk.

The innocent Chanwoo and Hanbin had been a bit off the gird for some special op for Taeyang. Last contact they got, was a month ago and he was doing fine but what he had been doing was going to be a bit longer.

They didn't discuss the details since Jeongyeon made it clear she didn't want to be part of her old life again. She left it for a reason but got dragged back and that's when she met Bobby. The moment she woke up after Yunhyeong had put her to sleep when she was at a party.

It was unfair to her.

She had to leave all her friends and her life she built for herself and stay hidden for the time being until a plot twist entered her life. It was something she didn't understand at first but she didn't want her nephew to be part of it. She was now his guardian and wouldn't let anything happen to him.

Jeongyeon inserted the card on the door for their room, she gasped seeing the wide open suit and couldn't help but drop her duffle bag on the floor making Bobby almost trip over it.

He caught himself and shook his head picking it up and saw his girl going to the slide door opening it and leaning on the rail as she stared at the ocean in front of her. He had to admit, he has never seen her so happy before.

Well that wasn't true.

There were plenty of times he saw her happy, he just lost count and didn't know how to keep track. Days went fast turning into a weeks and soon became months which turned into a year. He enjoyed every moment he shared with her and wanting nothing more.

After placing their things on the bed, he walked toward Jeongyeon as she was looking at the waves crashing on the sand as it turned into foam and slowly moved back. He wrapped his arms around her waist and kissed her shoulder from her teal swimsuit that she had on with a single spaghetti strap. Her hair had gotten longer passing her shoulders and it was no longer light blue. It was now a dark fawn color with a few strands of blonde.

To be honest, he missed her colored hair. It made her stand out from the crowd and spot her easy. When she dyed it, he had a hard time adjusting and she blended in with everyone. Especially when he would get her mad, she stormed off making it hard from him to find her.

He sighed giving her a squeeze as he hid his face in the crook of her neck getting comfortable. Jeongyeon hummed placing her hands on top of his arms for a moment shutting her eyes enjoying the sound of mother nature.

The waves crashing to the sand.

The wind blowing all around.

The tiny pieces of sand flying along with the wind.

The sound of seagulls flying and the quietness was enjoyable.

Bobby moved from his favorite spot on her body and accidently looked down her top seeing a peek open as the strings from the front were tied but at the same time it could be loosened up. He felt his heart rushing faster than normal and averted his eyes to the ocean as it had different shades of blue.

Clear blue like the sky.

Blue like the color and a dark shade of blue was meant it was the deep area.

Note to self...don't go near the dark color.

He squeezed Jeongyeon in his arms hearing her whimper cutely. He chuckled and quickly turned her around. She glared at him but he only dipped down pressing his plump lips on hers and she reacted within a second. He on her bottom lip getting the taste of her sweet lip gloss she had one. He nibbled on it for a second before pulling it between his teeth making her give a slight moan with clouded eyes.

He smirked and released her lip and leaned his forehead on hers. "Can we go to the beach later?"

Jeongyeon hummed to think on his question. It was tempting to stay in on the first day from the drive but the day looked perfect and there wasn't many people out either. She opened her eyes better and shook her head leaning back. "Rain check?"

Bobby groaned shutting his eyes as he sighed to control himself, if not he would have to take a cold shower and he didn't see the point in that if he was going to get wet anyways. "Fine."

Jeongyeon gave him a peck and wiggled herself out from his arms.

He followed her back inside the room and went to change into his swim shorts.

Jeongyeon didn't have to change since she already had on her swimsuit. Her denim shorts were covering the lower area. While Bobby changed, a thought occurred in her mind. She looked around the room and noticed how beautiful it is. It was indeed spacious like a loft and possibly like an apartment. She didn't realize how they were able to afford it all.

How did he pay for this?

The door to the bathroom opened and Bobby came out with his clothes in his hands and placed them in the draw by the bed. "Ready Baby?"

Jeongyeon didn't say anything but she crossed her arms and gave him a questionable look.

He stared at her and opened his mouth to say something but he an idea to what she was going to ask. "Go ahead."

"How did you pay for this room?" She questioned staying in her spot. "Was it the dirty money?"

Bobby sighed looking away from her. He didn't like lying to her or keeping secrets either. He grabbed his wallet that he had in pants and took out the card. He held it out to Jeongyeon. She looked at it at first taking a peek but couldn't read it properly. Bobby saw her fidget from her place trying to read the card. "Just take it."

Jeongyeon walked over to him and read the name on the card. It was a black VIP card. That only meant one thing.

Dong Youngbae.

She scoffed and handed the card back. "Are you serious?"

Bobby put it back and went towards her placing his hands on her hips. "Listen to me for second, ok?"

He knew Jeongyeon disliked the idea of dirty money from her father. It was why she left her own family. She had her reason and never wanted to be a part of that life. But things were changing and it was going to get better.

"It's not dirty money." He bent down trying to get her to look at him. When their eyes met, she locked them with his and stayed quiet to listen to him. "It's money saved from a long time ago. He has been saving it for you."

"Why?" Jeongyeon didn't understand at times. She didn't like the dirty money but everything had a twist to it. "He could use that for something else. Why on me?"

Bobby released her hips and cupped her face. "Because he loves you."

Jeongyeon stayed quiet realizing his words.

"Despite everything that has happened. Taeyang cares about you. You're a little sister he never had and he wants the best for you and the same goes for Daesyn now." Bobby pulled her closer to him and kissed the tip of her nose. "He gave me the card to only use it on you for anything."

There wasn't more to say about the card. She understood and gave a small smile to the boy who always made her feel calm when she wanted to get mad or feel any other emotion. He managed to get her to go back to neutral.

"Let's head out hm?" He nudged his nose with hers and she nodded accepting it.

Jeongyeon got her beach bag that she had packed before they left and went to the door opening it and waited. "Bobby?"

"I'm coming!" He was checking inside his bag for a small item he packed away and he couldn't believe what he was going to do. He smiled and felt content knowing it wouldn't be long now.

Just like before, the moment Jeongyeon's feet touched the sand, she took off and went straight to the water. She dropped the bag that was over her shoulder and placed it down at the spot she picked.

Bobby only watched his girl act cute and excited. He jogged towards the place she picked and placed his things down. He removed his muscle shirt and put it in her bag. He saw her in the water for a minute then she was running back quickly with her arms crossed around herself.

"It's cold isn't it?" He asked chuckling as she removed her arms knowing the sun was warming her up.

"I didn't think it would be if its summer time." Jeongyeon couldn't help but stare at Bobby shirtless memorizing his upper body that wasn't buff or built but it was enough to please her. She had seen him a few times on some nights they shared together. She felt her cheeks burning as it made it hard for her to look away.

But the moment the wind blew around them, his hair went up going with the flow and she saw his shaved sides as the his long strands moved in slow motion like coming for a movie. As she was watching his moves, he turned to lay out the towels for them and she saw his silver chain necklace he never takes off and the tattoo on his back formed in a circle.

She remembered when she asked him about it when she saw it. He got it because he believes in God and knows things happen for a reason. Things shouldn't be question because the answers come later.

Bobby finished laying out both towels and saw Jeongyeon in a daze. He smirked thinking of a memory and knew it would be fun this time. "Hey..." Jeongyeon snapped out of her trance and stared at him. "Do you remember when you were being a unreasonable when I told you someone was following us?"

Jeongyeon widen her eyes and dropped her jaw. "Yes, you took me against my will!"

"Orders are orders." He shrugged taking a step closer to her. "What if this time... it wasn't?"

Jeongyeon slowly took a step back and put her hands up to block him from coming any closer. "Don't you dare!"

He chuckled going towards her taking bigger steps and bent his knees a little wrapping his right arm around her waist and put her over his shoulders. Her legs were soft and smooth the moment he touched them. But when weren't they? She always put lotion on them to make them soft.

"HEY! PUT ME DOWN!" Jeongyeon shouted as she looked over to him. "BOBBY!"

"I will once we are in the water." He took a step into the ocean as it was at his ankles. It was cold like she mentioned but it was slowly warming up as he going further in and stopped once it was at his waist. He carefully put Jeongyeon down and she squealed wrapping her warms around his neck for some warmth he had around his body.

He didn't mind the closeness with her.

He wrapped his arms around her waist and held her closing his eyes. "Have I told you 'I love you' today?"

Jeongyeon heard the words he spoke as it got her mind off the coldness from the water. She saw him with his eyes closed but leaned into him pressing her lips up against his as he gladly accepted and mold them together. He slipped in his tongue the moment he could and felt Jeongyeon run her hands through his hair giving a slight tug.

He let out a groan as the motion of the water moved. They went down to adjust more with the temperature of the water touching their skin.

Jeongyeon shivered a few times but she stopped as the body heat Bobby was giving her warmed her up.

The kiss was passionate and intense as Bobby got Jeongyeon to open her legs and have them around his waist instead. She broke off the kiss panting and smiled as she leaned her head on his. "No you haven't."

They both chuckled as they shared a chaste kiss and moved up with the wave that came towards them. They held onto each other as they went with the flow of the water.

"I love you." Jeongyeon replied back to him as they stared at each other. "But that was still uncalled for!"

Bobby chuckled getting himself comfortable in the water. "I'm just creating more memories for us."

Jeongyeon rolled her eyes but at the same time. She knew he was right. That time he threw her over his shoulder was for her safety and even though it was embarrassing in the open public, he was willing to keep her safe at all costs.

Bobby sighed as it had only been the second time watching over the girl with light blue hair. He didn't ask to be a body guard but he was assigned to watch and protect her since Taeyang asked him too. If anything seemed out of place, they were suppose to come home and stay in.

But somehow Jeongyeon didn't want to be cooped up like a bird. She was stubborn and wanted to be out.

She is putting herself in danger.

He sighed again as he watched her look through some clothes and turned going down the other aisle. "Is shopping really necessary?"

Jeongyeon smirked at his remark. "You are free to go, no one is asking you stay."

He rolled his eyes and stuffed his hands in his pockets. "I should've brought my earphones."

"Maybe you should've." She mumbled getting two shirts and walked brushing his shoulder as it made him stumble back.

He glared at her back and closed his eyes trying to keep his cool. He didn't understand why he was picked to watch over her. He just got back from the states and the moment he returned he was given this task and their first meeting wasn't very pleasant either.

Bobby opened his eyes and looked around the store and saw someone in black with a matching black baseball cap watching the dressing room. He moved around the rows of clothes and went towards the dressing room leaning against the wall of the entrance. He watched the person looking his way.

Who are they looking for?

He glared at the person and their eyes met for a few second and soon they widen their eyes and left in a hurry. That's when Bobby moved away from the wall and saw the person running down the hall.

"." Bobby went back to the dressing room and grabbed the clothes from Jeongyeon dropping them on the floor. "We need to go."

Jeongyeon rolled her eyes ignoring him and bent down to pick up the clothes. "Don't be paranoid."

"I'm not!" He grabbed her elbow, making her stand straight and took the shirt away from her hand. "We are going."

Jeongyeon moved her elbow from him and hissed at him. "Don't do what you please just because you're my protector or whatever. I hardly know you and --"

Bobby had enough of her talking and so he bent down picking her up around the waist and put her over his shoulder. As he walked out of the store people were giving him stares.

"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING!" Jeongyeon shouted at him as she hit his back which didn't affect him. "PUT ME DOWN!"

Knowing her, she was getting attention which caused a few security guards running towards them. Bobby hissed and ran. "Did you have to cause a scene?"

"IF IT GOT YOU TO PUT ME DOWN, THEN YES!" She was hanging over him for a moment but she managed to see behind him but for her it was up ahead. A few security running towards them. But someone stood out of them all. "Hey...were you talking about that person?"

Bobby stopped in his place hearing her and quickly turned around making her gasp at his fast movement. He saw the security but the same person from before. They were talking into their sleeve and it wasn't a good thing. He hissed and put Jeongyeon down. She gave him a surprised look but he grabbed her hand with his serious one. "Don't let go. Got it?"

She nodded without saying.

He turned around again and went down the other side of the mall and went towards the escalator as it was going down. He had to push a few people out of the way and Jeongyeon was saying sorry.

When they reached the first floor of the mall. He pulled Jeongyeon hoping she wasn't falling behind but he heard her panting heavy. He saw a sea of people and took that as a sign to lose the security and the person following them. He grabbed someone's hat from someone and then another.

They don't need them right now.

Bobby found a spot and pulled Jeongyeon and put her against the wall to catch their breath. He was panting just has much as she was and he saw was towering over her to cover her as much as possible. Jeongyeon mindlessly grabbed his jacket he had on and pulled him closer as she hid her face into his chest.

Bobby felt his heart racing but he wasn't sure if it was because of some emotion or what. He closed his eyes letting his breathing go back to normal and once it did for him, Jeongyeon released her hands from him and looked up at him. "Thank...you."

He blinked at her and placed the cap on her head. He only gave her nod and sighed. "I'm just doing what I was told."

Jeongyeon felt a small pang in her chest but she saw him put his half colored hair back as he placed the cap on his head. She didn't understand what was going to happen to her life now but she was thankful that Bobby was with her right now.

After getting out of the water, Bobby had Jeongyeon sitting between his legs as he held her from behind. He placed his cheek on the left side of her head touching her damp hair. The wind blowing and the sound of the waves crashing was peaceful enough for them to sit in silence. Jeongyeon rested her head on his broad shoulder as she got comfortable and felt the sun rays hitting her skin to warm her up.

But it didn't matter since she had her own personal warmth behind her as he held her closer to him. He heard her sigh a few times and wondered what was on her mind. When he wanted to ask, she would turn her head, place her hand on the back of his head and pull him down for a kiss that was tender and sweet.

He smiled at every kiss and would nudge her nose with his. He heard her giggle and knew her mind was back to reality instead of up in space.

"What do you think Daesyn is doing?" Jeongyeon asked as she looked at him wanting to know his answer.

"Hopefully something we approve of." He chuckled pressing his lips on hers and let go with a smack.

"
