Xiumin pov

"Marshmallow" was the only thing heard as xiumin pinched out the last bit of fish food 

"Looks like I'll be running to the convenient store later " he sighs leaning back on his couch 

*ring ring*

"Hey xiumin how you doing"the voice says as soon as xiumin picked up the phone

"What do you want Chen"xiumin already knew

"You know my cousin's sister came back"Chen said 

Xiumin could feel Chen smirking

"So?" Xiumin ask confused

"Y/n ! DID YOU FORGET ABOUT YOUR HIGH SCHOOL CRUSH"Chen yelled

"Don't yell ........a-and yeah w-why" I stuttered

"Ooh~ someone still has feelings for y/n"Chen hummed 

"I hanging up now"I muttered out 

"WAIT..WAIT" *beep*

I began to think about y/n and the last time I saw her

 

*flashback*~

I walked down to the front room from the bathroom after finishing my shower with a towel around my waist 

Humming a random ost 

Then I saw a lump on the couch stepping closer to see who or what it was 

 

"Y/n?" I said as I looked at the lump 

"Cute" I said softly before I saw y/n move 

"X-xiumin" I heard y/n say confused and blushing well looking down 

A lump had formed in my throat the moment I looked downward 

Blood rushing to my cheeks grabbing the dropped towel 

"W-when did that happen?!" I said quickly wrapping the towel back around my waist running back to my room

*end flashback*~

*ding* 

A buzz from my phone brought my back up from my daydream ,blushing but looking at my notification

Getting up grabbing a sweater and my keys 

"Bye marshmallow " I said closing my apartment door 

*at the convenient store* 

I was grabbing the fish food when I heard arguing

"YOU BUMPED INTO ME" someone laughed

"Y/N YOU BUMPED INTO ME"someone else said laughing as well

Walking closer I saw the people 

As I saw them I gasped 

"Y/N,CHEN" I yelled making them both stop 

"Xiumin?"y/n looked at me making me blush as I put my head down

I peeked at Chen noticed a smirk had appeared on his face

"I've gotta go man I'll text you later"Chen said before walking out quickly 

Silence

......

 

"Soooo"I began 

"So" y/n replied back 

"You wanna come to my apartment and eat some dinner with me" I said cursing myself 

"I mean ummm you don't have to- "my words were cut off by a 

"Sure why not"

 

The walk back was silent but comfortable

 

"So is your apartment the same" y/n started

 

"Umm yeah pretty much"I say well scratching the back of my neck 

More silence 

Then finally

"Were here"I said opening my apartment door

Turning on the light I noticed a pair of my boxers on the floor looking over seeing y/n blushing 

"You still work at that office" y/n said walking over to marshmallow 

"Ahh yeah same job ,and you? Still stealing candy from kids " I say well sitting on the couch giggling

"It was ONE time" y/n hissed while rolling her eyes

"Whatever ,wanna order chicken and watch a movie"

"Sure"y/n said still a little pissed at my joke 

Y/n pov

I was sitting next to Xiumin internally screaming

Remembering the last time we had watch a movie together

 

*Flashback*~

"Y/n hurry up with the popcorn"xiumin yelled

"I know"I said sarcastically 

"Are you sure your boss won't be mad I'm here "I ask

"It's fine y/n besides he's in a meeting "xiumin said grabbing some popcorn

"Whatever " I whispered as I sat down 

Few minutes into the movie ~

"Here"a hand with popcorn was now in front of my mouth 

Taking it I whispered a shy "thanks" then went back to the movie

*after the movie*~

"Y/n " xiumin spoke softly ,so soft it was almost inaudible 

"Yaeh...." I say unsure

"Can you.......Can you ...do you want to ummm help me pick out a fish .....You can even name it ...I just feel lonely with moving into a new apartment alone."

I could live with you ...I thought

"S-sure"

A week after that / at pet shop

"What about this one y/n or this one" xiumin said like a kid in a candy store 

"Umm how about this little guy "I said staring at a goldfish with a small white dot 

"Perfect"xiumin said excitement could be seen on his face 

If only you'd look at me like that I said 

Before I knew it we were walking to his new apartment

I looked over and saw a kid trying to open a candy bag 

Walking over as xiumin watch me in confusion 

I grabbed the kids bag of candy opened it and ate it

Not caring one bit

Xiumin stare was a look of shocked mixed with angry 

Kinda funny how he didn't look mad 

"Marshmallow" I said quickly as I walked by 

"What?" He asked ,more confusion

"The fish,marshmallow that's it's name now"

*End of flashback*~

After I remembered it a stray tear had fallen without my permission

I noticed xiumin had been staring at me

"Y/n ar- "before he could finish I wiped my tears and stood up

"I'm fine I'm leaving now see you umm I just have to go" embarrassment had arose to my face making me hurry faster to grab my stuff looking over at marshmallow

One last time say in a low voice "I wish I was marshmallow"

But he heard

"What"xiumin was now staring dead at me

Blurry eyes due to my tears 

He was now wiping the new ones looking at me 

"Y/n did you just-" cutting him off again 

"YES I WISH I WAS MARSHMALLOW SO I COULD STAY WITH YOU ALL DAY AND NIGHT -"

I was cut off that time by a kiss,a KISS 

deepening the kiss then ending with a hug 

And cuddles as a knock on the door made us laugh
