Holidays

We were 16, we went to the same high school, you lived 3 houses away from mine, yet, we never really spoke to each other.

My 'friend' during that time had a huge crush on you. But plently of girls did. Although we never spoke to each other, I knew who you were.

Funny how I thought I would stan a chance with you. I was stupid.

The first time we spoke to each other was when I came to your house with my mother, who came to meet your mother.

So we were forced to hang out together.

You weren't like what I expected you to be.

I thought you would be quiet and rude but you were pretty fun to hang out with, and you even laughed at my jokes and told me they were cute.

I blushed because of a boy for the very first time.

You told me I had a really good sense of humor, and asked me if we could hang out more.

I said yes.

I shouldn't have said yes.
