Foreword

YG Entertainment, known for producing marvelous artists, like Big Mama, Se7en, Lexy, wanted to form a boy group that is as amazing as the other artists.

Yang Hyunsuk, CEO of YG Entertainment, named it Big Bang. First two YG Trainees, that automatically became a part of the line-up, were Kwon Jiyong and Dong Youngbae.

Jiyong and Youngbae have been training in YG since they were eleven. Until YG approached Jiyong, and offered him to be a part of the next boy group.

Jiyong then contacted his childhood friend, Choi Seunghyun, to aduition for Big Bang. Choi Seunghyun at that time, was an underground rapper, under the name of Tempo because of his fast speed rappinh

Lee Seunghyun, has also became a part og the line-up. He was first seen on a reality television called  "Let's Cokeplay: Mnet Battle Shinwa" in which Shinwa, a senior boy group was in search for members who will be a part of Shinwa's second generation.

Later on, Kang Daeseung and Jang Hyunseung joined the line-up. Until Jang Hyunseung was eliminated.

Bigbang's formation and preparation for debut, was broadcasted on television called "The Real Documentary: Big Bang."

They officially debuted on August 19, 2006 at YG Family 10th Year Anniversary held in Seoul Olympic Park. Debuting with the stage names G-Dragon, T.O.P, D-Lite, Taeyang and Seungri.

Bigbang has also released their first single 'Big Bang' at the same month. Which sold nearly 40,000 copies.

And from there, they started the journey of ups and downs. They experienced a lot of criticism and issues in which almost made them break the group.

One day in the 7th year jinx, they were given a chance to be nominated in MTV EMA "Best Worldwide Act" and went home with the bacon. YG then realized that this group will become more successful, thus, starting the recording and making of songs for their album, Alive.

The album has been in the list of Fuse to be one of the albums of the year 2012. Making it the first non-English album on the list. It swept charts of different continents including Asia, Europe, North and South America. This year they have won tons of awards and have left a significant mark in MAMA.

It doesn't end there. In 2013, G-Dragon, TOP and Taeyang released there solos and went viral too and have won awards. Also, Big Bang's MAMA performance was so lit even the fans can't take it.

They left the limelight for 2 years and went back in 2015 with MADE. An album with a movie-like trailer which drew so much attention around the world. All their songs were highly anticipated and none of it failed the fans. They had a world tour with 56 shows in Asia, 7 in North America, and 3 in Oceania making it 66 in total. Making it the most attended Korean concert tour, most attended Korean act in US, and etc. This is where the legendary Seungri's showering video came from. Haha. I can still remember Seungri's face asking TOP to delete it. Not to mention when Seungri had his revenge from TOP. Haha.

After the tour they rested for how many months. They had their guestings in different variety shows for awhile. But, before 2016 ends, they surprised the VIPs with 2 more songs and MVs in which they have prepared before TOP's military enlistment.

In 2017, TOP entered the military quietly asking the fans not to send him to military. Despite that, fans showed their support to TOP and cheered for him quietly outside the barracks.

After a year, Taeyang got married. Hooray for Min Hyorin. As what TOP said in an interview, she really got a "young" bae. Haha. Isn't he funny? Anyways, VIPs saw how happy Taeyang that day. He danced with Min Hyorin in the music of Versace on thr Floor by Bruno Mars. The couple looked adorable and incredibly happy.

After that, few days later, Jiyong entered the military. Then, Taeyang, and then Daesung. With Seungri being the maknae and the only Big Bang member outside the military, he explored his hobbies and talents. He held a lot of DJ-ing projects and had extended his business, Aori Ramen, in different countries.

Now, being the Big Bang member who has the whole attention of VIPs, having a chance to get linked to relationship, and having a lot of girls around him nowadays, will he be able to handle it? Will our maknae stay strong? Will he follow his hyungs this year? Will Big Bang come back early as expected? Will they go back from the beginning? Or have them as their inspiration?
