Mina’s Chronicles
A little girl, around 11-years-old, walks down the street. She was heading home from school. "Hey kid!" A boy and his friends walked over, "Do you have the lunch money?" The boy and his friends chuckle. The little girl didn't understand some of what he said, but understood. "n-no" The little girl shook her head. The boy's friends started to stare at her and walk closer. They started to beat and kick her. She fell to the ground as they grabbed her backpack, leaving her with only a broken pair of glasses. The little girl was in fear as they walked off. She scooted back some, letting her back hit the wall as she pulled her knees to her chest, burrying her head between her knees.
Mina slowly opens her eyes as water hit her and poured down her back.
"Minari? Where is the tv remote?" Nayeon called from the other room.
"I- uh- on the coffee table!" Mina replied back. "I see it, thank you!"
Mina sighed and closed her eyes again.
Sometimes reality can pull her back from these 'memories' of her childhood.
Mina's childhood wasn't like everyone else's. She was bullied, beaten, alone, for most of her childhood.
Teenage Mina was full of hurt. She, only a few years ago, moved to Korea to live with her grandmother. She had no friends. Again, alone.
She wasn't important. She was 'the girl who ace all test and never speaks'.
Mina never really did sports, but she did ballet. B
