the reason why stelliferous high school works together with anathema high school despite it's obvious differences is because Stelliferous high school, even with having privileged kids, wishes to show kids that they are not any better than those who don't have the money or life that they have. While the school knows of the dangers of having anathema students (specifically the criminals) being near stelliferous students, the school wants the criminals to know that they too are not any different and they can change and be treated like someone normal; and while it may not work, the schools do have good intentions in mind.
