Description

Goddess Chaeyoung, the younger daughter of the Spirit Father of the Premordial Asia, had always been the little troublemaker.

She was as witty as she was beautiful. A little too arrogant and mischievous.

Powerful, but has a kind-heart.

Myoui Minari, the youngest daughter of a middle-class farmer in a small village in Japan.

She was soft-spoken, gentle and harmless.

Myoui Minari is, without doubt, the most beautiful young lady in the entire mile of Japan, but she never really had the chance nor the time or money to step out into the city. But the shy girl never complained.

Mina, as how her folks call her, had dreamt of how life in the city would be like many times. She wondered if it would be anything like how she saw the world from the tiny television screen at her home. She was a dreamer.

Foreword

"Chaeyoung", the Spirit Father sighed wearily, "Why did you stir up trouble with the Soul Keepers of the Northern Kingdom of Japan again?"

Chaeyoung stood silently in front of her father with her eyes staring at the silver ground of the palace, both hands held together in front of her on the stomach.

"Why must you bother places which are living in perfect harmony?", he grunted, eyes heavily boring through his little trouble-maker.

"I-", Chaeyoung started, but dropped her voice again, "I dislike the Soul Keepers there. They discriminate the less fortunate souls who passed not so long ago"

The Spirit Father sighed again, dull and slightly enraged, "The Chief is extremely unhappy with your actions, Chaeyoung. The village is likely to suffer with their crops"

"...I'm sorry, Father", Chaeyoung mumbled, her amber coloured orbs never meeting her Father's, from whom she got her pretty eyes from.

"You will fix this", the Spirit Father ordered, "It is already the 21st Century, and you must stop your childish acts. I'm sending you to the mortal world"

"F-Father that's..."

"You are taking full responsibility of your actions. You will live among the villagers as any other human being, and until I am satisfied, you will stay there and work with them

"You must also protect and look after the Chief Spirit's granddaughter at all cost"

"B-But Father! How w-would I know?", Chaeyoung's voice quivers in the presence of her enraged Father.

"Do not fail me"

Father never gave me any answers. Everything went blank.

When I opened my eyes, I felt weak, powerless.

Mortal.

I was lying down on a pathetic mattress on a wooden floor, in a tiny space.

I could feel the presence and aura of other human beings walking around in the same space I was in.

It was a house I woke up in.

I could use no power.

No creature in the small room would follow my command.

I suppose

I am a human being now.
