What is semi-lit? Semi-lit is short for the term semi-literacy or semi-para. This is usually a response that contains at least one sentence which is approximately two lines. Here at Amities, we understand that English is not the first language of some of our members so we advise that you, as part of the community, also respect that.

What is SMS? SMS is short for the term short message service, i.e. text messages. If you are sending an SMS to anyone, you are sending them a text message and thus it is a private conversation, even if you post it onto the feed. This means that no one should be able to know the conversation since it is in private. If someone refers to your text messages but those were not sent to them, they are god-modding and that is against the rules.
