He frowned at the sight of her, clearly despised of her arrival. He looked away shortly after realizing he can’t take the look of her face.   What is she even doing here?   How did she know he was there?   It seemed like those questions will be left unanswered that night. He spent the whole night mingling with big crowds, an attempt to avoid her without being utterly noticeable.   Or so he thought.   But she knew. She realized that the moment she stepped inside the lavish grand ballroom, standing in the same marble flooring as he was after so many years, that he clearly avoided her.   Of course, why won’t he? It is only normal for him to do so, right?   Whenever she took a step closer to him, he would immediately circled around the ballroom to avoid her. She always got his leftover crowds.
