He frowned at the sight of her, clearly despised of her arrival. He looked away shortly after realizing he can’t take the look of her face.   What is she even doing here?   How did she know he was there?   It seemed like those questions will be left unanswered that night. He spent the whole night mingling with big crowds, an attempt to avoid her without being utterly noticeable.   Or so he thought.   But she knew. She realized that the moment she stepped inside the lavish grand ballroom, standing in the same marble flooring as he was after so many years, that he clearly avoided her.   Of course, why won’t he? It is only normal for him to do so, right?   Whenever she took a step closer to him, he would immediately circled around the ballroom to avoid her. She always got his leftover crowds. She always failed to come near him.   Both of them were in fact exhausted with the constant chasing and running, but with their persistence, none were giving up. It was not over until it was over.   By the end of the night, both were exhausted. He could not stand to keep avoiding her any longer and she also could not stand not talking to him today. And tonight, just like how it was since a long time, he willingly surrendered first for her. He stopped avoiding her. He simply marched for the exit and went to his car at the basement, fully knowing her eyes are following him.   She, knowing the chasing game was over, took the chance to moderately follow his steps to his car. She realized he has surrendered to the ‘stubborn game’ once again, just like he always did all this time. She melted at the thought of it for a second, but managed to gain her full concentration and keep striding.   So he still has that car, huh?   She saw him sitting in his favorite car with his head down, one hand at the steering wheel and although it sounds like she was conceited, she knew very well he honestly want to talk to her so much. She knew that he wanted to have this conversation as much as she did.   She opened the car door and just as expected, it was not locked. They finally truly breathe in the same air in such a close proximity.   There was only silence for the next fifteen minutes. There were so many things to say and both of them didn’t know where to start. They both waited for one of them to start the conversation.   “Have you been well?” Seunghyun finally initiated to break the silence. He thought he has to.   “Yes, have you?” She answered, surprised, immediately turned her body to him. He just nodded his answer. He has not spare a glance at her ever since they were in the car.   “I know you knew I was chasing you, and I know you kept avoiding me tonight. I also know you decided to stop avoiding me, even waiting for me with your car unlocked.”   She only met his silence.   “Seunghyun,” she continued.   “What are you trying to say?” He cut her, knowing that she would beg him to answer her.   She took a long breath and sighed. “I miss you. I’m sorry...” Her tears started to form but she fought it back. She didn’t want to show him her tears once again. She thought he would think that it was just tears for pity. She was not going to use it again.   But the tears were real now. She attempted to stifle her sobs and sniffs, practically drowning in the pool of tears. She knew she was at fault and she still dared to hope that he would take her in his arms, just like he used to.   “I’ve heard enough of that from you. Do you have anything else to say?” He tried to sound cold. He wasn’t even sure he sounded that way.   She stared at him, trying to stop crying, and he knew she did n

Chapter 1: You know the cons of reading oneshot is that, there's like a fix situation at the end and we can not question it because that's just how the story goes. I'm brokenhearted. Haha! But i liked this! ❤️

Chapter 1: Oh my what a twist at the end. It's really cool. I didn't expect that she'd be committed to someone else at all.
Loved this!

Chapter 1: Loved this! Even without knowing the backstory, it’s still heartbreaking. I hope you will write a full-length story as well. ;)
