where does this take place? this takes place in a small town of the outskirts of south korea; a place where odd happenings and creatures have been seen - also known as the area the homeworld / corrupted gems have been attacking most; as it is their first area of earth that they will use as a testing spot to exploit the earth.

 

the gems: the gems are rocks that can project human forms and magical weapons (that are usually their trademark weapon). at the time of when they were first made, all the gems had a plan to exploit the earth. that was until rose quartz came. she was enthralled with the beauty of the earth and she eventually became the leader of a group she formed called the crystal gems ; she lead the rebellion against the homeworld gems who planned to expoit the earth. in current times, the crystal gems exist in the human world to fight off both corrupted gems and homeworld gems that continue to attack.

the difference between corrupted gems and homeworld gems: corrupted gems generally focus on hurting the ones that had hurt them, although they are easily manipulated by the homeworld gems to not only attack the crystal gems, but they are also used as pawns by the homeworld gems to help in the plans to exploit the earth.

fusion gems: fusions are when gems fuse both their minds and their bodies to become one new entity (fusions can also make a gem that is already existent). to fuse gems, the gems must be mentally, physically and emotionally in sync. fusions occur when two or more gems perform some sort of act ; any same type gems are able to fuse with just physical contact.

humans

— the people living in the small town; most of them are not aware of the odd happenings in the small town, as the gems are usually there to remove such before anyone from the public eye sees. while they do not have any powers, many of them have quirks which make the town a little more dysfunctional.

corrupted gems

— the corrupted gems are those who refuse to fight for good; these gems do not remember the events of their lives, however, they do remember the people who hurt them. whether they be humans or other gems, they will attack without any mercy. even despite the gems turning to protect the earth, they continue to plan to exploit the earth.

homeworld gems

— these gems continue to live up to the way that they have been taught. despite many other gems joining the crystal gems, these gems wish to continue their plans to exploit the earth rather than protecting the earth along with the people on it.

crystal gems

— these gems fight for the good of the earth; they abandoned their original mindset and instead decided to fight to protect the humans and the earth. the team was made up by the deceased rose quartz; whom was the first one to abandoned her original mindset.

 

hybrid gems
[ open ; 0/- ]

— being half human and half gem, these gems are usually one of the crystal gems; they do not possess the same amount of power as regular gems have, but they have enough to fight. one of their parents had to give up their form in order to give birth.

one. applying as a faceclaim that meets one or more things from the following list may be rejected: any faceclaim under 17 years old, p*rn stars / overly ual faceclaims, problematic faceclaims, those who have openly said they didn't want to be roleplayed as, and the deceased.

two. this is an au roleplay; meaning that we will ask of you to create a new name for your character. that being said, we will ask that you keep your faceclaim's race in mind when choosing a name. if your make your character born in a different country, we will allow names that do not match their ethnicity. also keep in mind that the town will be in a small area in south korea.

three. ccs are allowed two times a month, but you must keep your faceclaim for at least a week. tccs are not allowed in this roleplay

four. roles may be changed; however please keep in mind that you will have to change your character's background completely in order to meet the requirements.

five. multiple accounts is allowed after a minimum of two weeks of being active, the most number of accounts that one person could have is three. multiple of the same gems is also allowed.

six. ic drama is highly encouraged, however ooc drama could lead to blacklisting at most or a strike. death between characters and pregnancies are allowed, but please keep in mind that your character will no longer be able to be used as you have been using.

seven. we do not have a relationship ban, as many relationships may be used towards the plot. moving couples are welcomed; but please keep in mind that being pregnant will lead the pregnant one to become half of their child ( we will require both involved to talk to the admin if wishing for a pregnancy. , yuri, and mpreg is allowed.

eight. we highly discourage random starters since this is a plot heavy roleplay. both and triggering plots are allowed anywhere, however, please keep in mind that they must have a warning at the top.

nine. we will not require a character bio; but please have a general idea of what you character will be like.

ten. this is a literate roleplay; one liners, emojis (outside of sns), and romanized hangul (outside of food and honorifics) are not allowed and will lead to a strike. all types of pov and writing styles are accepted as we will allow roleplayers a place to grow their writing skills no matter how they write.

eleven. we require you to be active at least once per week. that includes plots, posts in the ooc group, and any proof of plotting with others; if you are seen to be inactive, we will shoot you a pm and simply ask for proof or we will give you three days to respond to our pm before you are removed from the roleplay.

twelve. we run on a five strike system. breaking a rule will lead to one strike depending on the severity of the matter.

thirteen. hiatuses will be given out as needed and will last at a maximum of one month.
