Hyunwoo remembered their first encounter, how awkward they were to each other, trying their best not to disturb each other space no matter how much they wanted to do so, slowly those awkwardness changed into something warm, real and something they would’ve never thought before but somehow happened. Love, it came in a weird and unpredictable way. They couldn’t remember when was those awkwardness gone and replaced by the fluffy feelings all they knew was their life would be incomplete when one of them wasn’t around and that was how the famous awkward couple changed into the real couple who understood each other the best. Hyunwoo watched the way Kihyun laughed when the members were joking around with each other, he saw how fine wrinkles would show in the corner of Kihyun’s eyes when he laughed, he saw how happy the younger was and he saw the love radiating from Kihyun’s laugh… he saw something that will never end in his life, he saw and he is sure, he wants to spend the rest of his life listening to Kihyun’s laughter

“Stop staring at Kihyun like he would be gone when you didn’t stare at him” Hoseok joked 

“I love his laughter” Hyunwoo confessed

“You love everything about him, inside out from head to toe, we all know it” Hoseok rolled his eyes pretended to get annoyed but deep down he supported showki couple 

“You’re right about that” Hyunwoo chuckling and rested his back on the sofa sighing in content “I just love everything about him” 

As much as Hyuwoo wanted to keep Kihyun happy everyday, bad things bound to be happened, it broke his heart when he saw Kihyun was sniffling alone inside his room with no lights on, the ‘kids’ weren’t around and Hyunwoo knew that was when Kihyun usually cried his heart out, when there wasn’t anyone, luckily for him, he was an exceptional, Kihyun sometimes still let him be around when he was feeling down, just like that night Hyunwoo found Kihyun slumped on the bed, face buried on the pillow while the sniffling sound heard from it. After few years together, Hyunwoo knew not to ask why, he just approached Kihyun quietly, sat on the bed beside the younger and put his hand on top of Kihyun’s head, caressed it gently. No words needed. Simple and small gestures like this would take better effect for Kihyun, the younger leaned closer to Hyunwoo’s touch and when finally Kihyun raised up his face from the pillow, Hyunwoo could feel his chest felt tight, he didn’t like the way Kihyun’s eyes turned red, stress clearly seen on his face and sadness radiating from his gestures and Hyunwoo swore he would done anything to erase that sadness look from Kihyun. 

“Hyung…” Kihyun whispered “I… I…”

“Sssh… I’m here, it’s ok you don’t have to let me know now, just you know if you finally want to share it with me I’m always be here for you” 

“Thank you hyung” when Kihyun smiled, Hyunwoo felt his chest lighter “I love you hyung”

“And I love you too baby…” Hyunwoo leaned down to capture Kihyun’s lips with his “So much”

“CHAE HYUNGWON WAKE UP!!!!!!!!” Kihyun’s loud voice startled Hyunwoo from his daydream about Kihyun

“hmmm” Hyungwon’s voice heard but Hyunwoo knew the sleepyhead’s eyes were still closed

“Do you want me to put bucket of ice into you again??!!!” Kihyun threatened

“I’M AWAKE I’M AWAKE!!!” Hyunwoo chuckled when he heard Hyungwon jumped from his bed, remembered last week when Kihyun literally threw a bucket of ice into Hyungwon’s bed, of course eventually it was Kihyun who tidied up the mess but at least now Hyungwon knew when Kihyun said something he really meant it

“Hyung, Minhyuk hyung keep disturbing me” Jooheon whined when Kihyun just went out from the bedroom

“Not again Lee Minhyuk! Leave him alone! If he wants to play he will play with you” Kihyun sighed

“I didn’t disturb him! He started it first” Minhyuk crossed his arms in front of his chest whining how unfair Kihyun was

“Changkyun-ah don’t eat that food it was last night food, I’ll make breakfast soon you can drink milk first if you’re really hungry” Kihyun took the food from Changkyun’s hand before the youngest could bit into it. Of course it wasn’t Monsta x’s dorm if it wasn’t noisy early in the morning, Hyunwoo thought inwardly, he stood up and walked slowly approached Kihyun 

“Stop frowning you’ll get wrinkles” Hyunwoo laughed when Kihyun looked at him unamused 

“You just love to tease me” Kihyun sighed as he turned around trying to escape from Hyunwoo’s bigger body but Hyunwoo caught him from behind, hugging him like he was the most precious thing in the world

“You know I love everything about you” Hyunwoo turned Kihyun around so the younger faced him “Your smile, your tears, your laugh, your nag, I’m crazy for you Kihyunnie” Hyunwoo leaned down and gave Kihyun a gentle kiss “Morning baby”

“Morning papa bear” Kihyun chuckled, I love you…

I love you more…

Hyunwoo stared at the piece of paper in front of him given by his fan asking who was his favourite member, he knew s would complain about what he wrote of how bias he was but he also knew they actually very supportive about his relationship. So without hesitation Hyunwoo put “Kihyun” on the paper trying his best not to look all smiling, he looked at the name he loves the most on the paper, a flashed back of memories suddenly hit him on the day they first met each other, the first day he saw Kihyun laugh, the first heartbreaking day when Kihyun was crying but the younger pushed him away, the day when Kihyun supported him when he had a tough time, he realise he had spent so many days with Kihyun around and couldn’t bear the thought of living away from him, no matter what happened, no matter what he did Kihyun had always been there beside him, to support him, to cheer on him, and he’s really grateful for the younger “It’s always been Kihyun all along” Hyunwoo whispered inwardly before he jotted it down on the notes somewhere along the same line. ‘why?’ Hyunwoo smiled when he heard the question “Because he’s Kihyun” 

Because he is the one who could brighten my day in a way nobody else could, because he has changed my life in a way nobody could ever do, because he makes me smile when I almost forgotten how to, because he has a nurturing nature and he takes care of me well, but most importantly is… because he’s Yoo Kihyun, I love everything about him and I can’t imagine a world without him in it….
