Hi all, so this is the prologue teaser for the second most voted for option in my poll. The one where Seulgi and Joohyun are in a long-distance relationship. Seulgi in this fic is Korean-American who lives in the US, while Joohyun lives in South Korea. I will eventually get to the writing of this fic, at some point. I just wanted to post a bit of a teaser from it.

Joohyun, sat in her apartment, hand glued to her wireless mouse, and frozen in a bundle of nervous energy. She’s been in communication with, Kang Seulgi for the past 4 months, and doesn’t know why now she is so terrified to share a photo with the slightly younger girl. They have been talking for months, practically every day, and have grown quite close to one another.

“Maybe, she won’t like talking to me anymore.” The raven rationalized in her head. She has enjoyed all the hours spent talking to the younger woman in America. She really enjoys her company, and passing the time with, Seulgi never gets old, or dull. It’s always exciting, and it gives her butterflies in her stomach whenever they do talk. Joohyun is more than a little positive that she likes the Korean-American, as more than a friendly liking. Seulgi is currently typing, and Joohyun feels the nerves again. This time back in full force.

"Joohyun, are you okay?” Seulgi has typed. A few moments later another part to the message shows up.

"We don’t have to share photos. I was only a little curious because we’ve been talking so long. I don’t mean to make you uncomfortable."

Kang Seulgi, is very sweet, and thoughtful. She has this way of making her feel comfortable, and at ease.

“Okay, but I worry that you’ll think I’m ugly.” Joohyun admits as she has often found herself to be so.

"No way! I wouldn’t think that, I bet you’re pretty. Hey, I’ll go first and if you don’t want to show me a picture. You still won’t have to."

The raven, wants to be surprised by the thoughtfulness, but she isn’t. For as long as she and Seulgi have been talking. The slightly younger girl is quite thoughtful. She’ll send her good morning messages. when it’s morning in Korea for her. She’ll send her good night messages, with cute gifs attached to them. Seulgi always seems to make time to talk to her, even though they are thousands of miles apart, and share a 13-hour time difference. Seulgi makes her feel special, more so than anyone else ever has. Joohyun types a quick okay to her, and waits. Soon enough, Seulgi sends her photo. It’s a recent one of her standing on a beach in California. She was visiting friends that weekend.

Joohyun’s eyes are wide with interest. When she sees the gorgeous brunette with the most beautiful, monolid eyes. The type of eyes that look like they are oozing honey, and she has such a warm gaze. Joohyun, really likes people with warm gazes, and Seulgi’s gaze is one of those exact types. She looks like she would be perfect to hold, or cuddle with on a cold, rainy night. When it’s storming out. Joohyun also tries not to stare so obviously at, Seulgi’s exposed biceps. It’s hard not to look, when she’s in a sleeveless shirt. Kang Seulgi, is every bit as beautiful as her personality.

"It’s okay if you think I’m ugly."

That’s what the message says and, Joohyun looks stunned. What, ugly? That’s impossible. Ugly is not a word she would associate with, Seulgi ever. The brunette is so beautiful, and Joohyun quickly types that out to her.

Joohyun leaves that part out. She doesn’t want to potentially scare, Seulgi away if she comes on to strongly. The monolid girl sends her a thank you in the form of a smiling emoji with blushing cheeks. Joohyun thinks she can also share her picture too. Seulgi has just shown hers, when she didn’t have to. The least she can do is send one of her recent ones as well. She just hopes that, Seulgi doesn’t think she is ugly.

When the photo of the dark-haired, breathtaking woman with chocolate eyes, soft-looking lips, who looks like she could be one of K pop’s famous idols, wearing a purple sweater that looks so big, and comfortable on her small frame, shows up. Seulgi, just about falls to the ground in shock. In fact, she does fall onto the ground in shock. Bae Joohyun, is a goddess. There is nothing at all ugly about this beautiful, unreal woman, and Seulgi has half the mind to fly to Korea now to fight her for saying she’s ugly. She won’t fight her of course. She will hug the woman and explain her beauty is truly unreal. When Seulgi isn’t answering right away, Joohyun worriedly starts typing. She hopes the Korean-American hasn’t gone away.

"Seulgi! Seulgi!"

"Are you there?"

She types. She has no idea why, Seulgi isn’t answering now. The raven is worried that Seulgi isn’t coming back to talk. Maybe she shouldn’t have shown her picture after all and leave it alone. They were fine for so long without photos. After all, Seulgi lives in America, where there are all sorts of beautiful exotic women, and there are many different cultures coexisting with one another. Why would she ever be interested in her? A girl originally from a small rural place such as, Daegu. The raven breathes in relief when, Seulgi is once again typing. She hasn’t left, thankfully.

"Joohyun, you’re the most beautiful girl I’ve ever seen."

Is what Seulgi types to her, and Joohyun feels her face get hot, and explode red from the compliment. Yes, she has a huge crush on, Kang Seulgi, and it’s not going anywhere.

A/N: Hey, so this is a teaser for the eventual fic, not the first chapter. But this will be in the story itself. I don’t know when I will officially write this, but at least it’s up and ready to go for when I do. I hope there is some interest in reading the full fic.
