Description

A newly titled duke, Kyungsoo hates everything about the ton: the flashy ballgowns, the shameless braggarts, the rampant gossip, and most of all, the ever-increasing pressure to enter the marriage market and produce an heir. Little does he know, a secret admirer who shares his disgust with society's standards is about to change his opinion on marriage. Royal!AU (kind of? Is Duke!AU more accurate?)

Foreword

why does she have deer bones in her purse again? because i might start carrying some in my bag so i can get someone, lol. i really liked how you switched from kyungsoo's to sera's perspective because i got to understand how both of them didn't want to be there and how their opinions on ballrooms and the royalty align. i'm sure i've told you this before, but your writing style is beautiful! there isn't too much going on and the text isn't overwhelming with complicated words. (but i do appreciate how the dialogue is written as if i was in the victorian era and hearing people say these things). thank you for writing! :)

Chapter 1: I honestly can relate to Kyungsoo. Not only questioning my Mom's beliefs but I once was into a small debate about it. It's tiring and it's Mom! Better let her win.
