'Girls, listen up!' Seungyeon clapped her hands. 'We got a strange letter today. Look.'

She shoved a paper at the other girls. It said:

One of you is a vampire. 

            -one of you who is a vampire

'I wouldn't believe it,' Seungyeon continued, 'if it wasn't written in blood.'

Yeeun frowned. 'That is disgusting.'

'I think it's cool,' Elkie said rather loftily.

Seunghee save her a suspicious look. 'That's not cool, Elkie. It's gruesome.'

'I know! It's cool!' Elkie insisted.

Sorn remained quiet. She sat staring intently in the opposite direction as the girls argued.

'Quiet!' Seunghee shouted. 'We will figure it out LATER. I am hungry and I am going to eat. Now settle down!'

The girls quieted down. Sorn remained staring away out the window.

'Sorn-unnie?' Eunbin snapped her fingers. 'We're going to eat.'

'Have fun,' Sorn said absently.

'Without you? You're just going to stay here?' Eunbin shrugged. 'Whatever. If that's what you want.'

They left her alone.

At the café, Eunbin ordered for them.

'We want Sorn....we want salad,' she corrected herself. 'Salad, yeah. That's right.'

The waiter nodded and hurried to prepare the salad.

'It's Sorn, guys, I know it is,' Elkie whispered excitedly.

'Don't be so sure,' Eunbin frowned.

'Oh? Do you know who it is?' Seungyeon asked.

Eunbin bit her lip. 'No.'

Seungyeon nodded in satisfaction. 'Yeah. You don't know either. So stop correcting us.'

Now it was Seunghee who was completely quiet.

As the girls ate, she slipped away softly and returned home.
