IRENE’s POV

I watched in fear as I watched the doctor trying to save the life of my one and only love. I cried as I saw her chest lifting up from the reaction of the instrument that they use to revive her. I hate this situation, 

I heart the monitor made a sound and I saw the line, it’s straight. I cried more and more while my hand is forming a fist. The sound continues, and I can’t bring myself to look at the monitor.

This can’t be real. I know that Wendy had survived already. 

Until I heard the doctor had said the words that I fear the most.

“Time of Death, 1:24 A—“

“NOOO!”  

I opened my eyes and breath heavily.

“Unnie, You’re having a nightmare” I look at my side and I saw Yeri looking at me. She took some tissue and wiped my sweat.

“Thank God, It’s just a dream. Where am I?”

“Unnie, you’re in the hospital, Your got dehydrated and your body is weak when we we’re watching Wendy Unnie fighting for her life”

I lifted my right hand and I saw a dextrose attached on me.

I sat up and starts to remove the dextrose.

“U-Unnie, what are you doing?”

“W-Wendy, Wendy needs me right now” I continued to remove the dextrose.

“You better rest first, and calm down a little and relax okay, Wendy is alive.” A familiar voice  had come from the door. I looked at it and I saw Eric walking towards me and Yeri.

“E-Eric?”

He just lifted his hand and smiled . “Hi” He said and stop as he is near me and Yeri.

“Please rest first, Irene. Wendy doesn’t want to see you weak. You know that” Eric said.

I looked down at the floor and just nodded.

“Okay, but let me just see her please, I’m okay I promise, You can just take to her room with a wheelchair”

Eric just just sighed and nodded.

“All right” Eric said and excused herself to get some wheelchair. 

I just waited there and realized something. Why is Yeri not shocked when Wendy was the first one to pop-out from my mind and the first one to came out from my mouth.

“Y-Yerim-ah, why are you not surprised that I am thinking of Wendy as I woke up?” 

“Ah, Joy-Unnie told us already. As we know your current situation with your parents. But Unnie, you should have just told Mr. Son and your Mom”

That explains it, Joy told them already.

“If I can tell them, I would. But Yerim, It’s not that easy. Especially when I saw how happy Mom was”

“Then what is your plan now?”

“I don’t know Yerim, maybe I’ll just go with the flow”

After a few seconds,  Eric came back and opened the door then pushed the wheelchair
