For Yoongi, hip hop music—true hip hop—is about honesty, the kind of cringingly brutal honesty that makes people feel uncomfortable. As a result, Yoongi, as a long time hip hop fan, found it fairly easy to admit that he was attracted to Jennie by the third time they met.

(It was hard to ignore. Jennie was surprisingly sweet and shy underneath the chilly demeanor, and when she smiled at him, he melted like bingsoo left in the summer sun.)
