I only miss you when I'm breathingImpatiently she looked at her watch. He was already late. Sora looked up as she heard fast footsteps approaching.
>>I'm sorry.<< Chaejin said while catching his breath. >>The schedule took longer than I thought.<<
>>No need to run<<, she told him and held out his iPod.
>>Thank you~.<< He smiled.
>>I bought your CD today.<<
>>Really? Thank you very much.<< His smile was getting even bigger.
>>You didn't get much sleep, didn't you? You should rest more.<<
>>I'm really tired but it's okay.<<
>>Schedule and school is hard, isn't it?<<
>>Yes it is.<< He looked exhausted. >>Would you like to. . .walk around for a bit?<<
>>Don't you want to go home and sleep?<<
>>No, it's okay.<<
>>Hm. . .okay then.<<
They started walking and ended up being at a park.
>>Can I ask you something?<<, Chaejin asked and sat down on a bench.
Sora nodded and sat next to him.
>>When I met you for the first time, why were you crying?<<
>>Because. . .they talked about me being just like . . .my mother<<, she whispered. >>Whenever I think of her I start crying. . .<<
She rubbed her eyes in order to hide the tears forming in her eyes.
>>Are you okay telling me what. . .happened?<<
Sora looked up. >>She died.<<, she muttered.
>>You don't have to<<, he immediately said.
>>I'll only tell you. . .<< She swallowed before she continued.
>>My mother. . .she didn't found out that she had cancer until it was already too late. . .and she. . .she hadn't told me until she got. . .until she got hospitalized. To this time her condition was already too bad.<< Tears were strolling down her cheeks but she didn't mind. She cried in front of Chaejin. She felt comfortable around him so she didn't even bother to hide her tears. >>A week after she went into hospital, she. . . died<<, she whispered.
Chaejin froze. He didn't know what to do with a crying girl next to him. He got out a tissue and handed it to her.
>>I'm sorry<<, he told her and tried hard to held back his own tears.
>>I cried for a long time and I only stopped for sleeping. Then my aunt forced me to eat. . .my father came to the funeral. It was just my father, my aunt and me. . .I refused to go to school so my aunt taught me at home.<< She looked at Chaejin and saw his tearing eyes. He reached out his arms and pulled her into a hug.
>>I often thought. . .of. . .killing myself. . .there was nothing that could held me a live. My aunt cared for me, but I didn't love her as much as I loved my mother. I didn't see my father often enough to love him as much as I should. . .friends I didn't have.<<
For a while, they just hugged each other without speaking.
>>Why. . .why didn't you have friends?<<
>>Because. . .I once had a best friend in California but he moved back to Seoul. After that I became a loner. My friend back then, never replied on my letters, he never called me. . .<<
>>Is this old friend. . .L.Joe?<<
>>Yes. . .<<, she muttered.
After Sora had stopped crying they left the park and separated.
>>I'll see on Monday.<< Chaejin smiled and waved goodbye.
>>Bye.<< She smiled back at him.
As she walked home, the guy with his camera carefully followed her.
