PROLOGUE

Oh look, my first customer. I wiped the counter once more and walked to the cash register.

“What would you like to order sir?”

Don’t I just sound exciting with my monotone voice? Urgh, I’d rather be at school. I miss holding my camera and learning about compositions and lighting and-

“Sir? What am I? An old man?”

“Sorry, um…”

“Don’t you know who I am?”

“No…?”

“Are you kidding? You’re working at SM and you don’t know who I am? Well let me introduce myself. I’m Lee Donghae. Nice to meet you.” 

“What would you like to order Mr. Lee Donghae?”

“Now that’s more like it. Hm… you pick for me.”

“What? Just pick something.”

“You pick. It better be hot and amazing. You know, just like me.”

What a cocky bastard. I want to punch him but lucky me has to pour him a lovely cup of something hot and amazing. Oh, I'll give him something and yeah, it'll be burning hot and it'll be amazingly hilarious.

“You wanted to see me Uncle?”

“Look, sit down. We need to talk.”

Meet my Uncle. His name’s Lee Soo Man, the CEO of SMEnt. He’s a generous ahjusshi but honestly, he’s too much at times. I love him though, him being my only family now.

“Did you need something?”

“I heard you haven’t been able to pay you’re apartment bills?”

“Yeah, but-

“And that your tuition fees are pretty high as well.”

“But I-“

“And that you can’t even afford those woman pads or whatever they’re called.”

“Okay, what? Ew, Uncle.”

“But hey, it’s true, right?”

“Ugh… yes, but-“

“No buts. I’ve offered you money. I’m the freaking CEO of SM for Christ’s sake. I’m rich. I’m family. You should be swimming in Won right now and drowning in clothes and cars.”

“Seriously Uncle, I can pay it off in time.”

“I’ve let you off alone in life for too long. I need to in. I’ve known you since you were little and I know that you won’t take any of the money I try to spoil you in, but what about this? What if you work here, with Uncle? Eh? What do you think? We could have family bonding moments too!”

“Uncle! I’m fine! I can live on my own and-“

“And I’ll rent you a new apartment and I’ll pay for it in the meantime. Don’t worry. I know that deep down inside, you were planning to turn to ion but your lovely Uncle helped you out, right?”

"Where do you even get these ideas!?"

CHARACTERS

CHOI WONHEE: She’s a college student majoring in photography. Currently in debt, she takes a “break” from her studies to work various jobs at the SM Entertainment company. Her only family is her uncle, Lee Soo Man, the SM CEO. He tries to offer her some money and help but with her independent character, she’d rather work her way up.

LEE DONGHAE: He’s a member of Super Junior and the reason teenage girls are converting to fangirlism.

JUNG JESSICA: She’s a member of Girl’s Generation and is the blonde bombshell of the industry. 

PARK JAEBUM: He’s a member of 2PM and can be ranked as a beast. In bed? Who knows.
