"But we're not in love!" chanyeol exclaims.

"You have 12061, he has 12061. Seems like you're compatible enough." 

"That's not what I mean, Jongdae." the taller man sighs as he rubs the imprinted digits on his wrist.

"He doesn't even seem to like my presence. And plus, I didn't even think this happens!"

"It's pretty often for the decoded to not like their partners at first, but if you give it time he'll come around," Baek says.

"He shouldn't have to come around, its love."

"You sound like women" Sehun interrupts

Everyone in your friend group that evening was rushed to the regular cafe for chanyeol's big news. You'd think the giant would be at least happy but he was spotted sulking near the back table. You wouldn't blame him though, this Kyungsoo kid does seem a bit harsh on the poor guy. No skinship, Separate beds, He doesn't even say good morning.

"He probably doesn't even like me."

"Well, I like my match," The youngest says, lounging upside down.

"Uhu, good for you." 

"I don't know what the fuss is about. At least you found your code while it's forever alone, slowly dying out of curiosity." Jongdae whines.

Sehun sits up in his chair. 

"It's funny how I found mine first, and all I was doing is taking out the trash. Then all of the sudden my numbers switched around and I felt a sudden pain in my chest and-"

"We don't care sehun" chanyeol teases.

"You're just mad that my partner doesn't try to bite my every time I touch him like yours does."

Chanyeol huffs and sits back in his chair.

Baekhyun is right though. It's only rare for people to actually fall in love with their match. And what's worse is that it happens after the age of twenty. Twenty! The age where all you want to do is club and drink until you sense tomorrow's hangover. Kids can live their lives doing anything they want without worrying about finding their partner in a nearby strip club or something. The world is horrible in so many ways. 

"I just hope my partner is a good one"
