You know what are the worst part of being a school geek was the moment where everyone started calling you names. Though not all of them, there are always this kind of people who will really do things just to annoy the hell out of you and even reach the part where they will start bullying you. Wendy wasn't new to it, even in her old school, she also got the same experience though she wasn't got directly involved on the bullying part, still, it felt like they're also doing it to her. Just by witnessing other people getting bullied and criticize by those morons really pissed her off, but what can she do? She's just a geek, a loser, she don't have the gut to fight them all or even protect other people against them. She's just Wendy Son. A nobody. So instead, despite the thought of helping other people who are obviously in need of help she choose to played deaf and be normal. Instead she put all her attention on her studies and maintaining her grades. School, home, studies. That's the main priority. However, what Wendy never expected to happen was someone named Irene Bae would be the main exception with all of this. Up to this moment she still couldn't believe that she helped that girl. After all, she's still the devil-in-disguise aka Miss Perfect to everyone in this school. The same rude girl who did nothing but to ruined and on someone's peaceful life. But what really pisses her off was the mere fact that after all the good things she had done for that girl, she got nothing but a ruthless threat in return. Not even a simple thank you. The nerves of that girl. She tossed from left to right on her bed in attempt to dismiss the thoughts of the past events that happened that night between her and that rude girl, but it's quite almost difficult especially if that infamous icy stare of the she- devil filled up her mind once more. Feeling helpless, she ruffled her hair and shove her face between her pillows before muffling a frustrated groan. Wendy felt a rather harsh tug on her right hand causing her to halt her step. Bewildered, she turned to face the other girl who she then find out was already glaring at her. With a frown she irritatedly asked, "What?" The corner of the girl's lips twitch as she muttered, "Why are you such an idiot?" Wendy's eyes widen in fraction at the unexpected insult coming from the girl who she just saved a moment ago. "W-what?" "I said, why are you such an id-" "Yah!" she cut her off before she could finish her insults and pointed an accused finger towards the girl, "Is that how you really thanks someone who just save your life?!" "I never asked you to do that things in the first place so don't be so conceited about it!" the girl barked, glaring at her. Wendy's mouth gape in disbelief. "Wow!" She couldn't believe this girl. After what she had done for her, this is the only thing that she will get in return? She wanted to cry out of frustration because why the hell not? She spend almost half of her allowance for the whole month buying that expensive snacks only for it to got wasted just because of saving the life of this insensitive girl infront of her, who, couldn't even say a simple thank you in return. But, choose against it. She shouldn't give the devil the satisfaction that she obviously want. She needs to be tough. This is not the best time to act like a wuss. She scoff at the thought before facing Irene back. "You know what..." a stiff paused. She briefly close her eyes, chuckling humorlessly, " I think you're right. I'm such an idiot because I helped someone as cruel as you. But don't worry young lady, this will be the last time I'm going to save your life. I will never and ever do that stupid things again. I promise," She pursed her lips and firmly nodded to herself as if trying to convince herself to believe on her words instead of the latter. She gave the girl infront of her a brief glance to see her reaction. But the moment her's met the other's doe-eyed one, she suddenly felt lost and hypnotized. ​​​​​​That stares seems intense yet warm. Suddenly, it almost felt difficult to look away. It feels like something was pulling her in and it's already quite impossible for her to resist. She blinks her eyes and swallowed almost audibly as she tried to pulled away from the intense eye contact before she could make fools of herself for staring too much than what she intended to do which is very much unnecessary considering after her sudden outburst. The next thing she knew, her back were already facing Irene and was walking away from the girl who was still staring at her even after she finally broke away from their staring contest. Irene is mysterious but what's really creepy about her was the unsettling aura that surrounding her and the fact that it's always screams "dangerous". The weekend had passed quicker than what she expected and soon enough it was Monday morning. It's already been two days since that last encounter she had with Miss Perfect and as for Wendy, she choose to forget about all of those things after successfully convincing herself that thinking about that girl will only consume almost half of her remaining braincells which is not good at all. So now, she was back to her normal boring life being one of the resident campus geek which is rather more comfortable if she were to say, than having an awkward encounter with the infamous Miss Perfect. Currently, she was strolling down the empty hallway of their school. Since, she has still almost 1 hour left before the first period starts she thought it's best to visit the library for the mean time while waiting for the bell to ring. Her attention were immediately drawn to the petite girl with the familiar jet-black hair sitting on one of the wooden bench down the school courtyard. Though, this time she was alone and her minions were nowhere in sight. Her chin were propped up on both of her hands, eyes peer off into the distance and she seems lost in her deep thoughts. Wendy look down on her wrist watch. It's says that the time is 7:00 a.m and still too early for someone to be around the school ground. Her brows furrowed in curiosity. Then, what is Irene doing down there all by herself at this hour? It's not like Wendy is concerned or what , it's only just because it feels weird seeing the girl in her unusual aura. It's seems pretty off this time. "Strange isn't it?" She jump out of her spot when someone spoke, effectively snapping her out of her thoughts. She whipped her head towards the person who she soon find out was leaning against the railings next to her, it was a girl much taller than her though her face giving her the hint that she's a year much younger, probably a junior or sophomore, and was staring back at her with that sly smirk. She was cautious for a moment but then she noticed the girl was giving her an expectant look and she realize she hasn't yet say a word. "W-What do you mean?" She wanted to mentally slap herself for stuttering but the girl soon interrupted her. A soft chuckled before the girl spoke, "She's a hopeless ," her head tilted to the side, glancing towards where Irene was. Wendy's brows creases. She was completely puzzled. The unknown girl's comment confuse the hell out of her. She drag her gaze away from Irene then back to the girl next to her. "What?" The girl keep mum for a moment, just staring at the oblivious girl below. Wendy didn't know if it's only just her imagination or she really did see her face turn into a frown for a brief second before it quickly disappear when she turn to face her back. "She's stupid, did you know that? I mean she's always ing me out with that oh so perfect face of her and I don't want that,"she grimace in disgust. "I ing hate that face!" Wendy stared at her in awe. "And now as I remember," she paused as if she remember something important, squinting her eyes at her before she starts moving closer, invading Wendy's personal space.
