“alright boys… get into the living room now, me and Hyunwoo Hyung has surprise waiting there” Kihyun opened up his shared bedroom with his the youngest line and actually found all the members were there

“food?” Jooheon jumped from his bed nearly tripped over a jacket lying down on the floor

“Nope not that and Lee Minhyuk how many times do I need to tell you to put your clothes properly? And what I meant by proper is definitely not in the floor” 

“Alright guys lets go see what they have prepared!” Minhyuk followed Jooheon jumped from his bed clearly ignoring what Kihyun said

“Ya!”

“Waaaaa Christmas tree!!!!” Changkyun said in excitement

“Is this for real?!” Wonho looked at the tree in amazement

“Of course it’s real, since none of us going to spend Christmas with our family together this year so me and Hyunwoo Hyung thought that it would be better for us to at least have a Christmas tree  in our dorm” Kihyun explained with smile never leave his face, he was glad that everyone loves the tree he decided to buy with Hyunwoo few days ago when they went out for Christmas gift shopping together for the members

“Can I decorate it now?” Changkyun asked excitedly

“Of course, and that’s why we bought it” Hyunwoo laughed when suddenly all s busy looking for their Christmas tree decoration they actually took from the office few days ago

“Boys…” Kihyun shook his head in disbelief of how fast they actually worked for a Christmas tree, unlike when he asked them to do something for him “Well if you need me I’ll be in the kitchen” Kihyun told Hyunwoo who was standing beside him

“What are you going to make?”

“Your favorite, chocolate cookies and hot chocolate drink, I’m sure the kids will be hungry right after decorating the tree” Kihyun said before he let go Hyunwoo’s arm which was on Kihyun’s waist

“You” Hyunwoo said before Kihyun walked to their kitchen

“Huh?”

“My favourite is you”

“You are unbelievable hyung! Keep that cheese to your self!!” Kihyun said with blushing cheeks before he stormed off to the kitchen 

“NO HYUNG DON’T DO THAT THE BELL IS GOING TO BREAK” Kihyun came back to the living room just to Changkyun screaming at Jooheon

“WOW look at all these lights I bet it’s prettier if I put it on our room” Minhyuk said while playing with the light bulbs

“Ya put the lights down I want to arrange it!” Wonho tried to snatch the light bulbs but Minhyuk hid it behind his back 

“Ups I think I break this one” Hyunwoo said while staring at the star decoration on his hand which didn’t look like a star anymore

“STOP IT HYUNG THAT’S UGLY” Changkyun yelled again adding on the noise level 

“YA THIS IS A MASTERPIECE AND IT’S NOT UGLY!” Jooheon screamed back

“GIVE IT TO ME” Wonho shouted

“NO! NEVER” Minhyuk said in defence

“Kids…” Kihyun said trying not to add on the noise

“KIHYUN HYUNG JOOHEON HIT ME!” Changkyun yelled

“HE STARTED IT FIRST!” Jooheon yelled back

“APPA!!”

“KIHYUN HYUNG!!!”

“KIDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!” Kihyun finally lost his patience and all the members turned their attention to Kihyun “Jooheon stop playing with the decoration if you are not going to do it properly then just rest like Hyungwon!” Kihyun pointed to Hyungwon who was snacking while watching s from the sofa “And Lee Minhyuk, no all these light bulbs better not be seen inside our room or else I’m going to freaking throw your bed to the tree outside and you can sleep there forever!” Kihyun turned to his boyfriend whom he hoped would at least make his job easier but everything the leader touched normally became a disaster “And you shownu hyung, just be careful please we don’t have a lot of decorations left if you are going to break it all” 

“Unfair! Why Changkyun didn’t get any scolding?” Jooheon complained

“I HAVEN’T FINISHED TALKING” Kihyun glared at Jooheon and the latter immediately keep quiet while pouting “and Changkyun, give chance to others to decorate too, we only have one tree so let’s share it ok?” Kihyun took a deep breath when Changkyun nodded quietly “Alright now I’m going back to the kitchen and I expect no more loud noises because our neighbour will file a complaint letter again if you all keep behaving like this” Kihyun walked back to the kitchen after making sure all the members understood what he said and was actually glad when finally they decorated the tree in peace no more shouting, Kihyun smiled before he changed his focus back to his cookies

“wow…” Kihyun stood in the doorway watching the Christmas tree with his hand carrying a tray with 6 cups and a steamed hot chocolate on the pot 

“It’s nice right hyung?” Changkyun asked proudly

“It is yes indeed it’s nice” Kihyun passed the tray to Hyunwoo who suddenly approached him

“We did it” Hyunwoo said before he led Kihyun to walk closer to the tree with arms wrapped around Kihyun’s waist protectively

“Without so much noise”

“Without so much noise” Hyunwoo repeated while chuckling

“Cookies time!” Minhyuk shouted in excitement pouring himself a cup of hot chocolate, Kihyun ignored the noise that suddenly came back filled up their dorm, it’s Christmas after all and even if it’s not Christmas he get used to the noise their members always make in daily basic of their life most of the time it gives me headache, a lot. But sometimes he missed this kind of noise, he missed the noise which serves him as a reminder that no matter what happen or what will happen in the future he has his team members besides him whom he knows will always support him no matter what he did or done and even though he couldn’t celebrate Christmas with his family this year but he has s, his new extended family and he couldn’t be more grateful to God for that.
“What are you thinking there alone?” Hyunwoo squeeze Kihyun’s hand before intertwined it together with his hand, they both resting on the sofa watching s throwing some lame jokes to each other while watching the tree lit up their living room

“Nothing” Kihyun smiled

“It must be something because you won’t smile like that if it’s nothing, come on spill it” 

“Just… grateful that I have all of you during lonely Christmas like this, don’t tell them” Kihyun whispered to Hyunwoo

“I’m grateful too, especially because I have you” Hyunwoo smiled, he leaned closer to Kihyun’s face to show him he was being serious of what he said

“and I’m grateful too… because it’s you” Kihyun grinned and closed his eyes when Hyunwoo suddenly captured his lips for a kiss “I love you” Hyunwoo said after the kiss

“I love you too… so much” Kihyun’s eyes showed everything and it moved Hyunwoo’s heart, Kihyun put his arm around Hyunwoo’s neck and let himself be drowned again by Hyunwoo’s kiss

“Merry Christmas”

“KIHYUN HYUNG MINHYUK HYUNG SPILLED THE CHOCOLATE ON THE CARPET!!!” Changkyun shouted even though Kihyun was barely a meter away from him

“YA! IT’S BECAUSE YOU KEEP BOTHERING ME” 

“OUCH APPA WONHO HYUNG HIT ME!”

“YA!”

“APPA!”

“KIHYUN HYUNG!”

Kihyun shook his head watching the drama unfolding in front of him it supposed to be a nice chirtsmas where they spent it peacefully but of course it’s monsta x kind of Christmas to spend it like a disaster and Kihyun secretly enjoyed the scene didn’t even want to fix it, not while Hyunwoo’s arm wrapped gently around his waist and his head resting on the older’s shoulder, nope he’s not going to let s ruined this perfect moment.
