Shine | Moon Bin

Moonbin,

I would like to thank you for being my friend for these past few months. Over the past few years and just my life in general I didn't have many friends. The person I was closest to was my mother. A few years ago I was diagnosed with cancer, I spent most of my time in and out if the hospital after that, I never returned to school. You may not remember me, but I remember you very well. You stood up for me a few times in the hallways, you and your friends. You also helped me out whenever I was called on in class. I used to be what people called selectively mute. I could speak but I couldn't in social situations like school, I could however talk to my mother. It was hard, but I tried to stay bright and positive. They always said to shine your brightest, no matter how dark things get, to always keep even the slightest bit of hope... Because when all else fails and things start to matter, you want to be the shining star in someone's life, you want to light up their world. Moonbin, I wanted to light up your world.

Sincerely,
(Y/n)
